I am impressed at how different this color looks on everyone - it's reminding me of Heroine, where you couldn't find two pictures where it looked the same on two different people. If it has that sort of radiant purple overlay effect like Heroine, I'm going to be in hog heaven!
Actually, scrolling up and looking at some of the other photos, I'm now convinced it's got that Heroine effect! That is proof of a complex color that is well designed and that doesn't skimp on using a variety of expensive pigments to reach that deep color, rather than just darkening the color with basic black pigment. YAY! Can't wait for the mail tomorrow!

See, the lighting is playing with this lipstick. That first pic of Azealia isn't true. It's much more realistic in the second instagram pic that Copperhead posted. That's how it looks on me, but a bit glossier (probably due to the prep+prime).

- Nightmoth, if you don't mind bringing out some of the red tones. You'll see the redness especially around the edges of your lips unless you blend very well.
- Just My Type (that super dark cool brown from Tour de Fabulous - it's still on the MAC website), if you don't want to increase the redness and want to deepen the color or do an ombre lip. This is the one I'll probably go for first!!
- Just Wonderful (the dusky mauve from Tour de Fabulous) - This one will probably be gorgeous with it for a softer effect - it won't darken the color, but it won't fight with it or add lots of red. If you don't want a harshly edged look, this might be the best one of them all. It ought to add a little more dirtiness too, for those who wanted a bit greyer look. I seriously hope they bring this one back some day, because it's honestly one of the best lip pencil colors I've ever used for mid-tone plums, purples and dusty natural shades like wisteria, etc.
I'm also going to give it a try with my old standby Dervish, which is pretty much the exact same color as my natural lips - can't go wrong with a pencil that's an exact match to your own skin, for a soft look.

Hopefully it'll still be in some stores. There's a dark brown pro longwear lp too, but it isn't as cool toned as JMT. I'd say just snag one from the website - it's a perfect color for dark lippies you don't want to add red to. I use it with Black Knight, where it's replaced Nightmoth, which is what I used to use. 'Keeps the black nice and black very well.
