I got my YR in the mail and tried it on as soon as I got home. It looks just like it does on Azalelia. Its deep purple, 2 layers. I was surprised it looked that way since it looks so different in the swatches. But she is about my skin tone, so I guess that's why. I will try to get an in the sun photo to post tomorrow. i like it, its my Cyber fix without getting Cyber.

BTW, I think YR looks very similar to cunning swatched on the back of my hand. Cunning has a little more sheerness to it. They could be sisters, but not twins.

If anyone is looking for a deep purple. Kat Von D, homegirl is a good one too.

While I visit Temptalia daily, sometimes I wonder if she is trying to abandon her roots with MAC. Her reviews have seemed harsher on MAC products lately, and she seems to be moving into more higher end products. Maybe her expectations have increased due to all the product testing, but sometimes I wonder if there are some deeper politics going on there. Just a thought

right as always. i would always think how i wanted to buy chanel peridot nail polish... look how many brands have a dupe.. it's sickening. i almost don't want it anymore :/

Girl, you don't NEED it at all. The OPI and China Glaze dupes are dead on. So much so that I didn't even buy the China Glaze one. I wanted to buy the Chanel but didn't once I heard about the possible dupes being released. When it turned out that they were exactly the same I just bought the OPI and saved a bunch of money.

Beet Liner - Delectable - Yung Rapunxel, Plum Bright and Prince Noir

Beet Liner and Delectable thrown in because they came wtih my YP order and I immediately had to swatch them lol, so I just added Plum Bright and Prince Noir to compare.

YP is definitely plummy! I'll have to see how it is on the lips, but so far I really don't mind the sheerness, even though it is an amplified. I'm still wearing my Full Fuschia that purplerinne was so awesome to CP for me, and I'm seriously in love with FF right now I don't want to take it off lol. If it weren't perm at pro I would definitely stock up on that baby.

Anyway! I'm hopeful about YP. I'll have to test it out when I get back from my trip on Sunday!

It's definitely safe to order more once your prior order has shipped. That's what I did - as soon as I knew my first order shipped, I placed another one, and this time paid for overnight shipping. It arrived today.

I ordered last night when it was in stock and got a back order notification. The rest of my order has shipped but YR. I noticed no triangle as well. Weird. I wonder if I'll get it or if it'll get cancelled.

ok, so potent fig is the real purple.  i skipped it because it was too blue purple for me.  i think thats the color people probably want.  i wonder if they have any at the CCO for swapping. yup, buildable is good.

I've seen Potent Fig at my CCO. I can check to see if they still have it if you can't find it in yours.

Just got my YR! It's very pretty! Can't wait to try it on! The swatch on my hand doesn't show much red so we'll see once I put it on my lips. I don't want much red so hopefully it'll look on my lips the way it looks on my swatch.

No lip liner with YP just about 5 passes to get it to show up opaque, and it's still a little blotchy. I think a lip liner would help that. Leaving town in a little bit though so didn't wanna fuss with YP because I was just going to take it off lol.

Thanks! I always feel darks are vampire vampy for me lol, but they're still fun to wear in place of a red lip, when the fotd requires. I'm just not used to wearing the dark purples yet! It was more passes because of unevenness than sheerness. It doesn't seem lustre-y to me, but it feels glossier than an amplified. It has a good slip to it, kind of like a sheen supreme in that regard. It's plenty pigmented for me and I'm sure a lipliner and/or lip brush would help with getting an even application.

It IS a bit uneven. On my bottom lip it is but not on my top lip. On my top lip it's smooth. Next application I'll try my lip brush. I really like the shade of it tho.

Because of the sheerness factor, I placed an order for this. With colors this dark sheerness is a friend for a pale chick like me. It still is listed as "coming soon," so I wait to see if I actually get it.

I also ordered the new VG lipgloss. Looks amazing!
