Who did you put items on hold with? Nordstrom? The only time my MAC counter let me put a hold or even preorder an item was during the holiday collection's presale. That's about it. You're lucky
I did put some of the blushes from the Tres cheek collection through Nordies. They wouldn't let me put a hold on items for the Monroe collection, sadly. Believe me I asked. lol... I think we all have at this point.

hello everyone, I was fortunate to stop by my local Mac store (grand central new york) and was able to swatch and put my stuff on hold. I completely washed my hand before taking a pic, sorry . I put on hold the BP ( I am prolongwear conceler NW30) it didnt leave color on me only soft sparkle wich I loved. And Deeply Adored, it is a very beautiful deep red( the MU advised me that they already had pu almost the whole stach of Deeply Adored on hold_her opinion is that that will be the first to go).....FYI I cant spell even if my life depended on it.....Sorry in advance

I prefer SI ten times over SLV. I played with both of them today. I don't love the Satin finish for SLV and SI pops more on me. I'm kinda tempted to get a backup.

Though there IS a Pro exhibition/viewing, that's actually not even the one I'm going to. There's a closer MAC store to me that is having a Marilyn "event" this Thursday-Saturday. (Though I personally don't think it counts as a true event because it's basically going on all day every one of those days.) To my knowledge, this is not a Pro event. So I kinda feel like they might be cheating here...but I'm not complaining!

SI pulls more of a red with orange on me, whereas SLV is an orange with red. I prefer SLV because it's a semi-opaque application, but I do like both colors and feel that with the slight differences, it warrants owning both. Now, if you'd like a color that is like SI, Lady Danger is the best bet. Especially if you just want the shade in perm packaging. The difference between LD and SI is that SI is a smooth creamy matte, and LD is one of the traditional MAC mattes that can be a little drying. For all shades, MAC Prep+Prime is a lip lifesaver! P.s. this Macy's banner is makin' me aangryy!!
