Something must be REALLY wrong with me!! I'm a PRO member, already ordered all my goodies, yet STILL I STALK! WTF!?!? Guess it just makes me feel connected to all my Specktras still waiting! This is either REALLY sick... or REALLY Specktra LOVE!!! I'm hoping it's the latter!

I'm baaack. I just checked the site map. Is this collection still not up yet? :nono: Well, I have to say it was crazy up in the mall tonight. As soon as I arrived with my buddy, I said let's jump in line now. About a dozen people were seated and as soon as they noticed we were standing, they got behind us. I knew that would happen. It tickles me that people were passing by like what's going on in there. It never fails. The line was going back forever when we left. Anyway, they had two stations setup for Marilyn and I'm glad b/c the store is small and there was too many people let in at once. I swatched everything, so here's what I think: I'll give this collection, on a scale of 1-10, a solid 7. The eyeshadows bring it down. Now, I think for some of you, they will be useful, but they did nothing for me. They didn't feel gritty like pressed pigments, but they didn't feel smooth like VP's. They were light on pigment and for a light wash of color, I have similar shadows that I can use lightly. For those with a smaller stash you might like it. As I predicted, I came away with things I said I didn't want. The biggest surprise was Pure Zen lipstick. I was SURE it wouldn't work on me. Even when I swatched it I wasn't sure, but I bought it anyway. Let me tell you, it's the business. Anyone familiar with Nars lipsticks? It's like Barbarella and Honolulu Honey had a baby. It's not as peachy as B, but not as beige as HH. It has the silky texture of B, so it falls in the middle of the two. Also, it has a sheen to it that I didn't notice in pictures. It's going to be so awesome when I do a stronger eye look. Really surprised by this so ladies with darker lips, give it a try. Love Goddess, as predicted is amazing. A pinky red that's still definitely red, but has just a pinch of pink that makes it so flattering and unique to me. Love it. I bought my friend some things b/c she's tight on $, but if I hadn't I would've backed up LG. I might go back Thursday when the store opens and get another. I might. 2 other unexpected purchases: The BP and Legendary Blush. I thought maybe Legendary was too light, but it doesn't seem that way. I think it can be built up and it has a natural sheen to it. Very pretty and even though I have several peachy/coral blushes, this one is unique for me. The BP is very pigmented. I can use it lightly on the cheekbones or under the brow bone. I don't see any shimmer in it, but a sheen. I think the fair can get away with this as a face powder. I can't wait to use it. The dazzleglasses are not unique at all, so I passed. Also, it looks like she's on the toilet, so there's that. The Perfect Cheek seemed just OK on my skin and so I passed. I also passed on the lip pencils b/c I have cherry and it seems to fit all my red lip needs. Oh, I didn't swatch any eyeliners and I didn't bother with the polish. I'm happy to say the Marilyn images are not stickers. So, this collection is satisfying with a few real gems. You did a solid Mac. Now I want Glamour Daze. I'll post some pics in a few.

I'm showing some self control and only getting 2 lippies (Deeply Adored and Love Goddess) and I was going to skip the Beauty Powder but now I think I want it. The more time I have to wait for it the more stuff I can talk myself into, I'm my own enabler!

If only we had lip swatches... I think I'm going to go with "Love Goddess" as from the swatches it seems deeply adored and Charmed I'm sure are similar to rocker and RR , which I have.
Hmmm.... I kinda look like "The perfect cheek." I didn't get it when it came out last time... I do have cubic, and Orchid Rose (Chanel) and I guess Benefit Dandelion which are neutral or light pink enough blush to go with red lips...
How close is "The Perfect cheek" to anything permanent in mac or another brand? Perhaps I could pass ... What to do, what to do.

I think TPC is close to Blushbaby. The pic above your post makes them look close. Not perfect but close. Btw, pun not intended lol. Ya, I can only get one lippie right now and it sux. I will have more money on the 5 and am hoping my local stores will still have something lol.
