MAC for Marilyn

No just standard..wrong choice! But I always would get my goodies delivered in 2 days...Lesson learned

Maybe the standard orders are just backed up. It also took them longer to send out the shipping notice for overnight this time.

Good morning everyone, I see the collection hasn't launched yet. Maybe MAC is making good on their word and actually releasing the collection when they said they would, which would make me very happy. Might as well give a fair chance to everyone, right? (although, I am sorry that so many people wasted time stalking). Someone refresh my memory, the By Request l/g and e/s were released early on the days they were supposed to be, right? Obviously, the l/s released early and sold out just three hours after the e-mails were sent.

And I just checked the site map, and it's still not there. Where were people seeing the pic? Was it flashing through the home page?

Hoping that CartoonChic is correct and that they just reserved a certain inventory # on Pro for hot items and that the rest will be available once it goes live on regular MAC. So crazy!

Just checked and the collection isn't appearing on the site map here. It never has, to the best of my knowledge. If you search the site for 'Marilyn' you just get a little blurb that a collection will be launched. It's not 'coming soon', or anything like that.

No idea when it will launch, but I'm not concerned. I'm not stalking and I'll purchase anything I may want based on what's still available when I'm around to check. There's nothing I don't already have something simlar to anyway.

it's been like that for a few days. well at least since monday anyway.

i hope it comes up soon, but not holding my breath! i'm a bit sad my store isn't taking holds for this collection....i wonder if they're also only getting 5 of each item!?

I LOVE Smut. It's one of my absolute favorite shadows and a color I always have in my palette for when I freelance! I know I'm new to the forums, but I am DEFINITELY not new to Smut. I say go for it!!!

I bought Smut about a month ago but still haven't used it. Any recommendations for eye looks? Sorry I did not read anything after this post because I just logged into this thread and there are 767 new posts! Yikes!

I wish I could pre-order here, but both the MAC store and Debenhams counter in Cardiff only put things aside for you if you phone on the day of the launch!
I would try and miss uni to go the counter first thing, but I am scheduled to be observing HIV and TB clinics that day and it's important that I go to those two! Teaching finishes at 3pm though and MAC's open til 8...

I went to the party last night. I didn't want to go but my mother wanted to go and she's never been to one of the Mac parties so I indulged her. I only bought 3 things. Besides not being that interested in this collection, I was also a little broke. Still have Holiday on my mind. Big Haul coming there. I may buy another shadow or two though. My mom did say I could go and not buy anything. Huh?

But it was so embarrassing, all the SAs were waving at me and stuff. I keep telling my mother I don't go there that much anymore and that I buy everything online. But she didn't believe me.

Same here! My store said they aren't allowed to do pre orders until the day of launch so I'm calling first thing in the am on Thursday.

I'm sure this won''t release until the 27th becuase of the popularity of Marilyn. Makeup junkies/artists/ Marilyn collectors/era collectors etc etc. I will be stalking all day and night tonight though. I'm afraid it will sell out in a couple hours online. who knows what will actually end up at my local mac counter.

If I remember correctly Mac's By Request collection wasn't released early maybe a few hours early for the lipstick but everything else was released after midnight... I think this collection will be released the day of online, too.
