I went to the event last night! My scheduled arrival time was 7:30, and I got in at 8. I have been a huge Marilyn fan since childhood, and it was great to see her photos everywhere and hear remixes of her songs playing! A gorgeous blonde model was wearing a look from a Gregory A. facechart- a bluish grey smokey eye and nude lips. The silver Dazzleglass and Deeply Adored were sold out with no re-order expected. Overall, it pains me to reveal that I was disappointed in the collection. I expected to buy a lot, but I did not buy anything because I could dupe everything very easily. I am NW15. The beauty powder was a very chalky white on me, and hardly showed up. Love Goddess looked just like Revlon's Cherries in the Snow. SI was very close to Hibiscus and Revlon's Colorburst in Coral. Deeply Adored and Charmed I'm Sure were very close to Runaway Red and Red She Said. Pure Zen came alive when paired with the silver Dazzleglass. The Perfect Cheek was close to Tenderling and Cubic. Legendary was very similar to Blossoming, and did not show up very well on me. They had a quad with all four shadows for $55. I am not sure if they were the actual Marilyn shadows (since they are so much larger than pro pan size), or if they were shadows in the permanent line that were dupes for the Marilyn shadows. MAC premade quads are usually $40, so I think the store just made up a quad with similar colors (maybe All That Glitters, White Frost, Knight Divine and Silver Ring). The Marilyn shadows were very smooth and frosty. Showgirl looked like Waft from Smoke Signals. It was really pretty! Another shadow reminded me of Shore Leave. I agree with the previous poster who said everything looked like recycled colors in new packaging.
