I just got caught up on this thread! I had the timing this morning to be just waking up and about to get ready for work when I saw that the collection went live. I ordered my items with overnight but seriously I can't believe things sold out within 30 minutes! That was literally right after I ordered (I promise I didn't wipe out the stock y'all! Lol!) That's absolutely nuts! Just remember that saks, dillards, bloomingdales and macys are also stocking this collection! I really hope everyone is able to score what they were after!

Does anyone know how off Mailyn SI is from Iris SI?

So finally I'm wearing Love Goddess for my bday! I have it on my lips since 5 hours and the colour is still bright and even, but I would need another layer now, it feels dry. Or at least some lip balm!

Well damn! I stayed up till 5 am and am going over my data usage so I could get on the site! I knew it would sell out fast but I didn't think that fast. I might just pass on this whole collection. Don't think I can stalk anymore for a restock or on another site. If I can catch the items great, if I miss out again it's ok, more for GD! I want more from that anyways.

Just to let you know, not sure if it's still the case, but when I saw sold out on all of the items I was interested in on both the US and Canada sites, I called the Canada customer service line (I ALWAYS have luck with them) and sure enough they had everything still in stock. That was around 10 am EST so i'm not sure of the availability as of now. But i'd give them a call. HTH

I compared T's swatches on her swatch gallery, I think Marilyn's SI looks like it has a bit more red in it, and IA's SI looks a bit more orange to me but I did notice that even T's skin looks more pigmented in the Marilyn swatch so idk how accurate (irl) it may be.

I'm sad that a lot of you lovely gals didn't get the items you wanted before they sold out on the MAC site. I *just* created an account here, but was lurking on this thread ALL night long and saw so many of you hoping to stay awake for the release...you all were so awesome and dedicated with the site stalking and it's annoying that the MM stock was obviously so low! Pretty disappointing. I ended up pulling an all nighter for my sister (who actually is the one who introduced me to Specktra!) since she wasn't able to be up for the release, and I was fortunate enough to get everything she wanted (beauty powder, SI, CIS, DA, LG). I hope you all get the chance to pick up the goodies that you wanted when they launch in-store!

LG must be the perfect lip color for today! It just screams "Look at me in awe, for I am the birthday girl!!!!" Hope you have a great one!

That's all i bought from MAC marilyn. Not really drawn into the other products from this collection. I am eyeing most of the blushers from Office hours though. Legendary makes a very nice nudish peach blush ...loving this blush a lot.

I missed out on Iris Apfel's Scarlet Ibis. I'm hoping someone who has both can compare. I'm curious if they're different, but I won't be upset if they are.

Hey anyone have any idea what post count you need to reach Senior? I just noticed I'm nearing 500. One good thing about this thread and the constant mind numbing wait is that my post count is getting higher. I wish I had more to spend after all this work.

i wonder if there will be an online restock today? i can't imagine all the people on the west coast waking up to an already sold-out collection!  

. I woke up at 7.00am by the time I dressed the kids for school,around 7.20am west coast time found all lippies sold so when did this actually come up and I wonder how many spectras actually scored the lippies from this launch?

You guys should call your local counters, several of the ones around me are doing preorders! I need to go in and pay for whatever I want (I think I want a blush), and they'll have it ready for me next week. So call all the counters around you to see if they're accepting preorders.
