I know! I got almost everything I wanted, I was on the fence about love goddess but it was sold out, so mac made my decision. I snagged Deeply Adored, How to Marry, Preferred Blonde, the BP, and The Perfect Cheek. Decided against legendary at the last minute too because I already have Launch Away!, Immortal Flower, and Supercontinental. I know none are exactly the same but meh.

Speaking of similar or backup lipsticks...I LOVELOVELOVE Mehr ls which I had in the past with multi backups, then I get an email from MAC the other day that showed a new Mehr (fashion week?) so I bought another
The new Mehr is slightly darker & a bit more rosier than the original. I like it but still not like I do the original on.

I was able to purchase the lipsticks i wanted and decided to go with the preferred blonde eyeshadow. I'm bummed that some who were loyally stalking the site did not get a chance to purchase. Ugh!
I have to admit i am a bit bothered by one recent review I've seen on YouTube about the collection. before i start i just want to apologize in advance for what I'm about to express....i hope this doesn't offend anyone.
So i was watching this one lady on YouTube going on about how much is "obsessed" with Marilyn Monroe..blah blah blah. she said she didn't care what the products were, she was just going to get them for the packaging, how shes heard from people to look past the packaging that a lot of the products aren't any good...her response? "i don't care I'm not going to even use the products probably" umm...excuse me? wow so you bought things that others could have very well gotten good use out of just for a picture on a box???
Don't get me wrong, I'm not against anyone who is a fan of anything but i got very annoyed at the fact that things have sold out so quickly (whether pro or regular site) and to be honest, I'm sure its because of people like this. making purchases simply for show and tell or because of an obsessive collective habit.
Again my apologies and i in now way am i telling anyone what they can or can not buy or better yet, do with their money. It's my opinion and as well do, have a right to express it =)

I called my MAC Nordstrom and they are taking wish list orders! You give them all the items you want and your credit card info and before the Nordstrom.com website goes live they will put in the wish list orders! You aren't guaranteed to get everything on your wishlist but hey something is better than nothing right? And its a lot better than stalking the Nordstrom site for who knows how many days!

Hey ladies, I have been following the forum for a while, and decided to join the specktra family. Im a Mac addict and my friends dont understand why I need so much make up. Anyway I picked up my pre-order today. I love the beauty powder its smooth not chalky and doest make my nc45 skin look ashy ( used as a highlighter). Im in love with deeply adored. I also picked up the perfect cheek, charmed im sure and love goddess. My MA also let me preview and pre-order the holiday collection so happy its beautiful.

Ok so here is the deal... i got pro account online...BUT I can't get the discount at the store today (I'm going to the MM event in New York because my card is expired and I never got a new one (I called and requested it 3 times since the summer). So... I got CPs but obviously I cant get the discount applied
The good part? well, I might be able to get my hands on a couple of things at the store so whatever I can get I will post here if I have stuff to be sold or swapped.
As of now. I still have more than one legendary. In fact, if anybody wants to swap let me know, I'd rather swap than feel like I'm an evilbayer.

I got my UPS My Choice notification for my overnight shipment for tomorrow but still no MAC email about shipping. that probably will go thru in a batch tonight.

Hubs just got his ip5 yesterday and I will be getting mine in nov (I have the 4s- so not eligible for a discounted upgrade until then). The phone is really awesome. We are with AT&T though, not sure how coverage is different with V in your area though.

Actually, i just logged in to my MAC account and all my items from my order this am show shipped. you all might want to check your account; i still have not received a shipping email from MAC.
