Oh I noticed on temptalia, the scarlet ibis is really orange, but other photos it is orangish-red.. I so hope its not pure orange.

I compared her Iris Apfel swatch to the Marilyn one and they look different. The Marilyn look really orange/red where as the other looks more orange. I really think it's her lighting that's changing the color of the lipstick because I even noticed that her skin look more colorful in the Marilyn review, she looks a bit pale in the IA swatches. I have the Scarlet Ibis from Iris and it's definitely orange with some red, I LOVE it. It's my favorite lipstick so far out the 100 that I must have!

I was wondering if anyone who has legendary blush recommends it? I don't wear mac liquid foundation but i do use their studio fix powder + foundation & i'm a C3. Is the blush worth getting? I've read mixed reviews on it so I'm unsure on whether it's worth the $. (Glamour daze is coming soon with 3 new blushes),, hmmm

Jus get it gal. Legendary is a beautiful light peach blush, that can be built up. I love this blush loads... I highly recommend Legendary. =)

Thanks for a ll the compliments gals, I am usually not a red lipstick person (cause I am usually in right colored e/s or bright pink / fuschia lipsticks) but scarlet ibis really attracted me. My country didn't get the iris afel collection so I didn't got it the last time round. Glad that they re promoted Scarlet Ibis in this collection....everybody should own a Scarlet Ibis <3 <3

Yeah, they did screw me one time. But I still order from them last resort. They sent me the wrong quad, on the order it even listed the one I wanted. I told them and they insisted they sent me the right one. I was pissed, but they weren't budging so I just let it go.

Ah, that sucks. That must have been super frustrating. No one needs more stress during a MAC launch

Well my Macy's order is marked as shipped with Scarlet Ibis, beauty powder, silver screen and preferred blonde...but my nordies order with my other two lipsticks (love goddess and deeply adored is "in process")

i'm trying to convince myself if something happens to my nordies order i'll live...but really i'll be anxious and forever checking the dillards site wondering if i should order backups damnit!

Yes, get it! I loooove it, such a pretty glowy peachy pink! I'm NC35 right now and it show up nicely, but I need a kabuki to really buff it into my skin. (I know I look lighter than that in the pics, but the flash wash me out.)

My Macy's order shipped!!! And I will have all my stuff I got from the MAC online launch on Thursday. I'm relieved that I'll be getting all my "must haves" but now kinda nervous about them arriving in one piece after reading the horror stories on here lol. I had ordered an extra LG from Nordstrom's in case something happened with my Macy's order so I may have that for a CP if that order goes through (still waiting on confirmation/shipping notification).

Nordstrom can usually take up to 48 hours to process an order. If you don't have a tracking number, either by e-mail or in your account, by the end of Wednesday, then parts or the whole order may have been canceled.

I ordered Force of Love lipstick and Play it Proper from Macy's. I think it came in either a box that rattled around or an envelope mailer. The only issue was the flap on the box of PiP was opened, and the cardboard a little dinged up, but the product itself was just fine.

me too, i placed an order because i'd probable regret not getting it and i didn't get to see what it'd looked on my lips so i know if i don't like i can easily swap/ sell on here

Yeah I suspect that it's only really bad with mineralize stuff and things in flimsier packaging. I remember a pigment stack I ordered from them had cracks in the containers but those things are really easy to mess up.

I think with this collection I will be nervous in general until the products are safely in my hands!!! I was not expecting this launch to be anything like it was, for one thing on so many forums and blogs people were talking smack on the packaging saying how tacky it was and then the last couple days before the launch all of a sudden people were freaking out saying that they had alarms set every hour to make sure they didn't miss out lol. Then when I checked ridiculously early the morning of the online launch I still missed out on LG. And then after that I missed LG for the Macy's and Bloomingdale's launch cuz I was expecting it to be at Nordstrom's first!!! I just feel really fortunate that I ended up getting everything I wanted, and it seems like most of the people I see posting on here managed to get their list too. People are STEAMING mad on Temptalia I'll tell you that much!

because I've never gotten a backorder notice before and I think my reckoning has come (dun dun duuun). I don't blame anyone who is really po'd over this launch. The stock issues are really inexcusable for such a company. I mean most people don't have the time to refresh websites repeatedly.
