I made an order yesterday with Nordies and it is still processing........maybe they are to lazy to update it for now, and will just let me know when it is shipped out.

I don't think it's bad, I ordered stuff before but I don't remember how long it took to process my order, I hope they are just slow.

Okay, I feel better. It's been a long time since I've bought any MAC LE stuff, so I really want this one!
That is where I called and made my pre-order. They were very nice.

Personally, I'd go with Rocker, Love Goddess, and Moth Brown. Moxie is also great, but if I HAD to eliminate ONE... I'd want as much diversity between the 3 I was ordering. Rocker covers your dark, vampy fall lip, LG would be your pinky-red fun color, and I'd HAVE to throw an eyeshadow in there, especially a versatile one like MB!
But I honestly DO NOT envy your decision... It would be super tough to choose! HTH

Yes I do. I just swatched the two of them on my arm and I would say they are the same color. LG is still more interesting to me due to sheen.. it might even have some micro shimmer in there that might account for color shifting going on. They both also leave the same stain on my arm so it is not a different base color. I agree with PixieDancer's picks for lipsticks. Honestly, and I do like Moxie quite a bit, the Moxie looks dead next to LG... heavy and flat. I actually wear Moxie as a stain with lip balm over it to thin it out tho I suppose that is why woman created lip brushes and LG gives the same effect without the extra steps. I am sure there are swatches comparing somewhere.
Please keep in mind I am kinda blind so minute differences that say the nail polish world and lip stick world make a huge deal over I tend not to notice. Being a lip and tip girl means I am constantly buying all the things but those macroshots of stuff feh~ nobody gets that close to my nails{which are not the size of a huge something or other} so pink and lavender shimmer vs coral and lavender shimmer escapes me

I hope it won't be. I wouldn't think so. I love Archie comics and read them when I was a kid, but I don't think there are nearly as many fans as there are for Marilyn. I can't wait for Archie's Girls though!

I think because of all of the craziness surrounding this collection I've ended up purchasing more than I originally planned just because it's now or never with the way this collection is selling out. Typically I go to my MAC store when they open on collection launch days and see what I want after swatching.
I'm still wondering if I should try to go get Showgirl on launch day at one of the counters but I might just try one of the dupes listed in this thread. I might STILL just be caught up in the hype.
I agree that this launch is MUCH crazier than VV. For VV I was able to get everything I wanted and was still able to get odds and ends at the store a few weeks later. It's funny, because I think VV was much more unique than this MM collection. MM has a MUCH wider audience though.

The next post has a long stretch of various pinks and once again I think they are very very close with just a wee bit something special coming from sheen.

I just called MAC to find out if it would be sent today (yes, I'm impatient) to find out that no, it won't be. Because it's such a "large order" it is scheduled to be sent on Wednesday. He said there is a "possibility" it will be sent today but the chances are slim. I wouldn't mind but I ordered it within 20mins of the stuff being up. Seems though they're sending out packages with smaller orders first and leaving us with more than 3 items for the next day which is crap. I WANT MY MARILYN GOODIES. Such a crap excuse. I know I shouldn't be annoyed as it's still going to be here by Thursday but that's besides the point. It should be first-come-first-serve, not depending on order size.

Shipping with Nordstrom is free but their processing time is usually really slow (however, delivery time is pretty fast). I wouldn't worry about it too much. I placed an order yesterday and my LG was cancelled right away, so I'm guessing that the rest of my order is safe

My "Thank you for placing your order at MAC" email is time stamped 2:21pm yesterday. There are 5 items in my order, and it is showing as "dispatched" on the MAC website, although I haven't received the dispatch email yet.
