I just check the listings out of curiousity.....

they were bid up by a person, i am skeptical that she would be paying that much for one lipstick...
- not a serious buyer?
- a new buyer who thought would be getting 5 lipsticks, hope not the case......


I also spotted the MM lipstick in amazon, it is even more expensive than ebay, I know for sure I won't be buying a lipstick for this type of price, I would be happier/ can live without buying.
I miss the old ebay, that time there were some sellers selling authentic, limited edition mac at the price lower than retailer....

Yeah, I feel bad for them.

I reported the listing because it's misleading.

However, I'm actually pleasantly surprised that most of the prices aren't that high. At least if my order gets canceled then I won't have to worry about the markup on ebay being super bad!

I wore Love Goddess yesterday and it has some serious staying power! I paired it with Beet which is a perfect match. LG has the staying power of an amplified or a matte. Usually Satins can be somewhat drying on my lips, but I only had to reapply LG once (after a meal) which was more of a dab and smoosh rather than a whole application. Next I want to try it with Embrace Me, to see if I can get it more of an amped up pink! But I'm seriously in love with the shade, it's such a perfect blend of pink mixed with red.


I don't feel so remorseful for not getting some BUs of LG on the other online sites, since I feel that I won't have to use it too much with a daily wear. Based on one day lol, but usually with my beloved Pink Pigeon I have to reapply at least one more time throughout the day.


I agree with MAC guy - us paleys NEED to BU the beauty powder! This blows my Too Chic right out of the water. Too Chic has a gorgeous shimmer to it, but Forever Marilyn just gives an effortless glow to the skin. It's not shimmery or shiny, it's just very glowy

Well I am totally sold!

Are you wearing it on top of your foundation?
From Liba's ever-eloquent description, it seems like another variant on Elude-type powders. And it weighs more and costs less, so I may get a couple of BUs

Yep after foundation, I used FM as a finishing powder. I usually do the liquids first (foundation/concealer), then let that set and apply powder (blush, highlighter), then use the finishing powder (Forever Marilyn).

Just did a live chat. Said my order has been processed and I should receive by 10/11. So they are shipping 10/8. It only takes me about 3 days to get my orders from Nordstrom. I wonder why it is taking so long to ship out.

Hmm maybe they will be like my Macy's order that was supposed to ship 10/3 and instead shipped the same day. I seldom order from Nordies so I'm not really sure.

Well actually quantum teleportation is already possible. It's not possible to teleport information though. I hope they can hurry up an bring us the 'real' teleportation haha although I doubt that it will be here in time for us to use.

How annoying! I agree it should be first come - first served. This is exactly why I always go for the quickest available shipping method for LE stuff - after the whole kerfuffle with VV (when people I KNOW ordered later than me got their stuff and mine was cancelled) I just don't want to take the risk. Fingers crossed you get all your stuff! My order (2 items) says "dispatched" but I haven't had a dispatch email. I often don't get one until after my stuff's turned up though!

I was really tempted to pay for quicker shipping but because I've never had this issue before, even with LE collections I didn't figure it would be a problem. I'm STILL checking the website like an idiot but I know it definitely won't be dispatched now until tomorrow. I really am just so annoyed by it all considering how much time I spent sitting here wasting my time clicking "refresh" only to be told that my order is "too large" so it'll be done a day later. Not only just first come - first serve, you would have thought because I spent over £100 they'd be happy enough to get it done quicker, as if their prices aren't already ridiculous enough. Meh. Stupidity, next time I'll wait until Debenhams or something and get the damn points I missed out on.

I dunno. It almost looks like shilling. 56% of this buyer's bids have been on this seller's auctions and the bidder has 0 feedback. I miss the old eBay days when you knew the person's user ID and could look up their identity to see if they had bid on the seller's auctions before. It's possible these bidders think they're getting all 5 lipsticks based on the pic, but the auction clearly states only a single lipstick is being sold and it's highlighted in bold. Before I was thinking nothing would sell for this much so I didn't really care if sellers listed a $150 BIN, however, this particular auction started at $20 so no one can be mad at the seller. If the lippies are going for $150+ I'm putting mine on eBay. LOL. I could use the money.
