MAC Holiday 2012 Glamour Daze / Fabulousness / Guilty Passions Collection Discussion

My list is the same mostly because I really am dying to see ALL the EDES's swatched. I am hoping a few of them will be off my list after swatches since they are so expensive for the size. I want Outrageously Fun lipstick and Flight of Fancy gloss also but thats all from this collection. I know I'm getting annoyed/anxious way too soon but I thought we'd see some shadow swatches by now! Please let me know if I missed a link to them I miss the obvious sometimes!

so today i went to my mac store to pick up some Marilyn items & the lady showed me the pre-sale book for glamour daze, but there was another picture in the binder she had titled "Divine Desires" on the back of that page appeared to be the two lipstick set colors we have seen along with a liner and gloss BUT with an additional blush to match! the packaging was also different... it was in the bow compacts instead of the animal print bags. idk if anyone knows this yet, but i haven't seen it before! the lady also said the kits were $70.

i'm assuming Divine Desires is the collection name for the compacts in Glamour Daze.

Ok i just called my local Mac store and they said that not all products of the glamour daze is coming out on the 25th. I specifically asked about the 4pk of lipglasses and those will be out on Nov 8th. SO am excited cuz now i can save cuz i want all 3 sets.

Usually, the "regular" collection usually comes out first and the sets a few weeks later.

If you want the sets early, you should go to an event as you can usually buy all parts of the collection in one go and you don't have to wait for the official release date. That's what I did last year with G&I.

so considering what happened to me at mac today regarding the marilyn collection
i decided to pre order even tho i am going to go to the event on oct 16


the mac artist at the nordstrom i preordered at told me during the events at nordstrom they usually give a little something as an extra gift

is that true? can someone confirm this too me?

also she told me the set are gonna be released on a later date the individual stuff launches

they are wrong. you can buy everything you want at the events. maybe they didnt get what you were asking.

i may swatch the lippies and just get out as soon as possible. last year was crazy. my store is way to small.

i hate the price of the shadows and why are the blushes $22?? never mind the marylin ones are $22 too. i get ripped of with out knowing!!

i may just get the peachy shadow. ohh and that minty polish. it looks beautiful in the book.

one more week, i cant wait..... ........ ....... .........

i'm crazy for the fludlines! they look so awesome and very different to other fluidlines the lipsticks are all very appealing too

Hate to say this cause I have been buying Mac since it started, but I don't like these eye shadow palettes. Not enough shadow and I usually like a peach or pale pink or vanilla or white as well. Am I not seeing right. I normally buy the Nordstrom/Bay palette, didn't like it either.

Yes please take pictures of the swatches!!! I know the stores now have the products do hopefully more swatches will leak. When is your event??

yea i think they are wrong too because they didnt even know that their was two parts to the collection, she had to check some book behind the counter
