I'm skipping all the EDES and I really wasn't feeling the skinfinishes in the initial release, no need to force myself to like it now. So I'm sticking with lipsticks, blushes, and two lipglasses. I see what your doing MAC instead of the 1.00 increase I guess its a 1.50 for special packaging now.

When I asked the SA yesterday if things will be sold out she said, "you guys will have first choice."

I can't see how that would work since the release is that day. I'm going to have to call back after the MM hype dies down.

It's horrible how most of the products I want to buy because of the name -_-
I see this collection selling out FASTTT! online and in stores, I hope it is coming out
this month instead of November because NYC is a b****h when a new collection comes out
and I won't be home in Miami.

I never have gotten an EDES but I have been hearing so many good things about them I want
all of them from this collection

I was talking to a Mac artist for an hour today about this collection She told me the pink fluid line is gorgeous topped off with the pink edes (don't know the name) She tried it out I guess when the collection was being introduced to the employees Anyways she was telling me all of the must haves and how amazing the lipstick outrageously fun was Excited!!!!

Why the price increase here? I remember having glossy packaging before but I don't think there was a price increase. I don't think the pencils are in special packaging so why the price increase? What a bummer! I almost feel like protesting. But I'm really looking forward to this collection so I won't. I may just be able to reduce the EDES I will buy and hopefully I can skip the blush.

The EDSF seems to be the same price. I wonder why no price increase here? How peculiar!

yeah i just dont get the price increase like the regular blushes are $20 and these and the marilyn are $22??!!! i dont get it.

I'd like to check those fluid lines out. As far as the extra dimension stuff, I don't care for it. My Whisper of Gilt is a pain to apply, a nice clean brush does not pick up product well on it,
the surface get's a strange texture.

So when I went to pick up my MM stuff at Macy's she showed me the glamour daze book and let me preorder; I ordered superb, i'm the one blush, outrageously fun, and beauty lipstick. As for the eyeshadows I'd sit till I see them to place my order for those... I spent so much money today kinda broke my heart to pay for these items and I can't have them for 21 more days!

Yes it is! It looks a lot more unique in this photo. In other photos I thought it looked too much like pink peony.

so today i went to my mac store to pick up some Marilyn items & the lady showed me the pre-sale book for glamour daze, but there was another picture in the binder she had titled "Divine Desires" on the back of that page appeared to be the two lipstick set colors we have seen along with a liner and gloss BUT with an additional blush to match! the packaging was also different... it was in the bow compacts instead of the animal print bags. idk if anyone knows this yet, but i haven't seen it before! the lady also said the kits were $70.

i'm assuming Divine Desires is the collection name for the compacts in Glamour Daze.

Yes that's the pieces that i was talking about but i couldn't remember what was all in it. It's Divine Desires and then i think the nude one has another name for it, i think.

then i thought at least part of the other holiday collections would be released the same time, and then some other parts would be released in november...

They told me that Glamour Daze was coming out first, then Part 1 Sets, then Part 2 sets are supposed to come out Nov 15th

I went to pick up my MM collex and the MA was more excited about the Glamour Daze collex than this one. He let me look in the book and at some of the products. He is really excited about the lipsticks, glosess, fluid lines, and eye liners. He showed me raven (gorgeous), and a gold/black one, which is also beautiful. To reiterate what everyone has said, the EDES are tiny, they even feel smaller than the regular shadows. He showed me the taupe one (Satin Taupes EDES twin), purple one (sorry I told myself to remember the names. it looked like Rich Core in the package), and I asked if he felt the colors were similiar to the last launch and he said that they were b/c they were smaller. He said they made them smaller for stocking stuffers, and I guess ppl complained about them ~really?~ I'm going to have a really hard time paying 19.50 for these, so I might pass. He showed me two glosses, one was a brownish color, and the other was a gorgeous sparkly gold. I can't wait to get that one. He said, I can make an appt and he will try the new products out on me. Maybe then I'll take some pics. and take my current EDES to compare.

The kits are adorable. I"ll be buying multiples, just b/c. I really like the VG nicki bag set. He said the Bpowder kits will actually have one suitable for WOC. Rumor has it, that once you run out of the products in this kit, you can remove the inserts and use it as a clutch.

He LOVED the fluidlines. I acted like I was surprised to see we'd have some, and he was super excited. He said the pink was gorgeous, and I asked how it would be on WOC, he said they were gorgeous. There is one that is like a gray version of blitz-n-glitz.

I love the feel of the cushion top sets.

Oh and the back of the book said the release date was 10/25. There is a bright pink (love goddess twin?) that we both said will sell out fast.


I haven't been able to work my OT like I wanted, so I have no idea what I will be able to get from this collex. LOL
