MAC for Marilyn

Well, he/she probably doesn't know who I am as I don't know who they are. They could come to the other side of the bldg and ring my bell or leave my package. They had four days. I'm home every evening around 7pm. My phone # is listed in the phone book so they could call me. I also hope this is just one big mistake and my package will be waiting for me tonight. I'm so f'ing upset my head is spinning. Sorry to vent.

Hopefully the neighbor just didn't know how to find you. I hope you get them soon.

No. No front desk. I just got off a live chat with UPS. The dumbass driver left my package on the other side of my bldg with a total stranger that has had it for four days. I was never notified it was left. The woman I was chatting with said she will put in a request with the driver to get my package and re-deliver. I said I want it today, but she said she couldn't guarantee that. I asked why and she didn't answer me. Then... she disconnected my chat with her. I'm so f'ing pissed. I have neighbors on my floor who always take in my packages for me. Why couldn't the driver just go to my apt. and leave the package with one of them or just in front of my door as they have in the past? I also did a survey and balled these people out on it. I better hear from UPS today. I gave the woman my cell number. I want my MM lippies.

This is the first time in history that something like this ever happened to me. I never have issues with my mac deliveries.
That was rude to disconnect the chat. Did UPS tell you the apt # where it was left? I don't know if you could have one of your neighbors go get it for you instead of waiting for UPS to get it.

What's puzzling me is that if this person doesn't know you, why would they accept the package and then not come by your place to give you the package? Or at least leave a note saying that they have it? I understand wanting to be helpful, because I've done it in the past for my neighbors. But when you accept someone else's package, I think you're also accepting the responsibility to make sure that package gets delivered. I really hope this works out for you quickly and that you get your items.

I really need to pick up a lipliner or 2 to go under my MM lippies. I can apply them from the tube, but I hate when my lipstick fades and leaves a ring around my lips. Any suggestions?

Tx tats. If I get my package I will definitely let you guys know.
Who holds onto a package for four days? It's against the law, right?
It's not illegal, but what kind of morals does that person have if he/she keeps your package that long?
I hope you get your package today!

I would be really upset too, geez, I would report the driver so he gets in trouble, honestly these delivery people need to be more responsible for there actions, they don't care just dump it off and off they go.. Can you report his name to the manager? I never had them give away my box to my neighbor, But I had times where they would say no one was home, WHEN someone is always home! idiots.

I feel for everyone who's been struggling to get items from this collection. I thought this only happened in my country. I had a similar experience when the venomous villains collection launched here. I had to go to 3 malls just to get something from the collection. I had to be there before the mall opened and at the last store I went to, we had to fall in line for four hours just to wait for them to start selling items. The most frustrating thing is, they don't even have stocks of some of the items and those with stocks are so limited (3 pieces of each). In the end, I wasn't able to get everything on my list and got items that weren't on it just because I wanted the disney packaging (embarrassing but true). I was so frustrated by that experience that I promised myself I wouldn't do it again for any LE collections. Good thing I found local online sellers that have US credit cards and addresses that they can use to purchase online during US launches. I pre-order my stuff from them. Takes a while to get them but can't complain.

I hope everyone gets something if not everything they want from this collection. I pre-ordered mine but I won't get them until November. My seller said she was able to get everything before the items sold out online.

I'm wondering if the person who accepted the package thought it was for them since we both have the same apt. #, just a different bldg address? I am sure this person did not purchase mac cosmetics. After four days, you would think this person would be nice enough to at least go to my lobby and leave it there if need be. I'm trying to reach my mom, but I don't want her to go there either. We don't know this person from Adam. I'm wondering if I should go back on chat and see what is happening? What do you think CartoonChic? I appreciate you listening to my vents. I'm so upset. Can't concentrate on work.

It's so annoying when they say no one was in there was. Same thing was with my MM box. On the tracking page it said that they tried to deliver and no one was in and they left a card, wheras both me and my bf were in at that time literally by the door and no one knocked or left any cards.. so annoying, I was starting to think they tried to deliver to the wrong address...

No worries! I know how you feel. I've had a few misplaced packages before. And for something limited like this, I would really want to know where my package is. I understand you not wanting your mom to go not knowing the person. I don't know if there's someone else who could go, maybe a building manager, and leave a note to call you about your package? I would probably also try chat again. Seems like the UPS driver got the apartments mixed up.

A kind board member is doing a CP for the BP and my MUA managed to get me one of the lippies, so I think I'm good. I'm not thrilled about the way this transpired, but I know it isn't the MUAs fault. They think a customer must have reached behind the counter and into the drawer to get the held items. It was a madhouse yesterday. I do wish I'd gotten DA, but I'm wearing VG1 today and trying to tell myself it's almost the same thing.

So after about 15 pages I was able to catch up. There was insanity today at the stores, so my husband and I went to the store at about 9:50 because the manager told him to come in a little bit early we walked in thru a side door that was left open for employees only but the manager had told the security guard that it was ok for us to come in a bit early. Now mind you my husband had his military uniform on, we walked to the counter and I told the MUA what I wanted, while she got my stuff it was already 10:00 and the doors were open a big crowed of girls ran into to the counter and started yelling what they wanted the manager immediately told them to form a line behind me and my husband and OMG all hell broke loose they started fighting and arguing about should be in front of the line and pushing yelling and shoving started to happen at this point the MUA with my lipsticks comes out and some crazy chick tried to snatch the lipsticks out of her hands, so the MUA yelled and told the chick that it belonged to me and that she needed to get in line well this crazy chick started yelling that she didn't care if my husband was military or not that she should be the one to get the lipsticks because she got to the MUA first, my husband was annoyed so we just rushed and got our stuff. The more insane part is that the chick was really trying to fight for the lipsticks, mall security showed up right after I got my stuff and they escorted the crazy chick out of the mall with no makeup, the security guy said the she was banned from the mall. I never use my military status or my husbands to get ahead of anyone it just so happened that the manager wanted to be nice to me because my order was cancelled at the other Mac store but some people are just jerks I told that stupid chick that the reason why she even had the freedom to get anything was in part because of me and my husband both doing 3 separate tours each in Iraq ughgh some people are assholes! It's not that serious it's makeup there will be more collections. Anyways I did get 1 of all the lipsticks so all in all I'm happy.
This might be the craziest story about this launch so far! I'm sorry, but even if you and your husband hadn't been there first to begin with (which you clearly were), I think stepping aside to let you get a few lipsticks is the least we could do to say thank you for your service! Sheesh...

OctoberViolet- I'm getting anxiety pains in my chest just reading about what's going on with your package!!! Of course this couldn't happen with a delivery of perm items, it just had to happen with the MM lippes, right? Ugh!!! I'm hoping whoever has you package is just waiting for someone to come pick it up. UPS definitely needs to fix this, stat. I wouldn't be able to concentrate on my work, either! Please keep us updated...I really hope you get your things, preferably today!!!
