My mom said she would come with me tomorrow to this person's apt. I printed out the proof that the package was delivered on Tuesday and signed by him/her. I just hope there is no problem.

I will keep everyone posted. I am also going to put in another complaint against UPS. Such a shame. They used to be such a good company. At least for me.
Please be careful when you approach your neighbour. I understand how much you want your stuff (truly), but your personal safety is more important.

Thank you, Audrey. This is why I had wanted UPS to go back & get my package for me. I don't want any problems. I just want my package. I wish I knew who this person was. Yikes!

It's a sad state when I was able to buy more of this collection through board members (from two different countries!) than I was from MAC. Thank you to those who helped me get what I was looking for!

A kind board member is doing a CP for the BP and my MUA managed to get me one of the lippies, so I think I'm good. I'm not thrilled about the way this transpired, but I know it isn't the MUAs fault. They think a customer must have reached behind the counter and into the drawer to get the held items. It was a madhouse yesterday. I do wish I'd gotten DA, but I'm wearing VG1 today and trying to tell myself it's almost the same thing.
Ohhh that sounds so crazy. People grabbing stuff out of drawers. Terrible. I am glad you got most of what you wanted. After Nodrstrom selling both my stereo rose and modern mandarin even though I was presold them I just order most of my le items online.

My tracking number from Nordstrom still says that only a shipping label has been printed and it doesn't have any other information. Is anyone else's tracking not working?

FRUSTRATED BEYOND BELIEF!!!! I just got two different responses from UPS chat. It's like they won't do anything even though it is THEIR fault. I contacted MAC about this even though it's not their fault just to see if they can do anything for me since they were the ones who sent the package UPS. I tried to call them, but only got a stupid recording that doesn't allow you to hold for customer service. I am beyond pissed at this point. I will keep you guys informed. If I don't hear from UPS tonight, do you think I should just go to this person's apt. and see if they will give me the package? I'm nervous.
Ahh I hate package drama! hope it all works out!


YAY I got Pure Zen and LG bu off Belks! Now I truly am finished!

Personal safety always comes first and I'm not one for confrontation at all. But to be honest here, I would go to the person's apt. Today is Friday and UPS doesn't deliver on Saturday. I wouldn't want to wait over the weekend and let more time pass. I would politely go over there and see what's going on. If the person comes across as rude or if there are any problems, then I would leave. It could all be a simple misunderstanding, and I would rather find out what's going on sooner rather than later. That's just my take on it.

I've now got everything I wanted, and then some. Somehow, I bought not one but two BP (I'm paying overseas shipping anyway) because so many here love it and I do go through powder much more quickly than other items. If it's not completely HG status for me, my daughter gets one for Christmas. Once I get through the first one, I'm planning on using the packaging for my blot powder. I got TPC from a counter, will pick up CIS from the MAC store and Gracie found a DA for me.

I also ended up getting LG for said daughter when I never had any intention of buying it. She'll get TPC, LG and two of the holiday sets of makeup brushes for Christmas and I'm sure she'll be thrilled with all of it although she may need to work her way up to LG.

Oh, and Gracie is also scouting out Showgirl for me - I blame Rochelle for that.

I am really on the fence about Pure Zen. HELP!!!!
I picked up my Pure Zen pre-order last night. I tried it on earlier today (before switching to my pink lipstick for day) and love it. It's a great neutral shade that brightens my face. But Audrey C is right, it's permanent so you can get it later. But if you want it for the packaging too, I'd say get it now.

Ok, I know yesterday was the day for Mac Counter/Store horror stories, but I was so done, I didn't even wanna think about my story anymore. However, I'm going to share it today...lol. I hope you guys don't mind the late venting!
Yesterday morning, I woke up bright & early so that I could get to my local Macy's at a reasonable time, before it opened. I was so excited about the MM collection that I left earlier than I originally planned, and got to Macy's at 9:20am. When I arrived, there were already 3 other ladies sitting down, waiting for Macy's to open their doors. We must've looked out of place, because one of the Macy's associated asked us if we were all there for an interview..LOL! We asked him if it would be possible to be let in a little early, but he said no. I wasn't trippin' though, because it's a business that has it's particular schedule to stick by.10 o' clock rolls around, and they FINALLY they opened their doors. By the time this happens, more than 10 people are waiting outside with me. We get inside to the Mac counter, and to our surprise, there was already a line of ladies there!!! In my head, I'm like WTF!!! Dude said no doors were opening earlier than 10am. Obviously, that was a lie, because we got to the counter exactly at 10 and these ladies were already lined up, each with a little piece of paper in their hand!
I asked one guy how they got in so early, and he told me they were waiting at a different entrance... -_______-
One lady from my group was PISSED. She yelled out "WHAT THE F*CK! F*CK THIS SHIT", waited five minutes in line, then left...
At this point, I'm feeling quite let down, because I already knew the stock for the collection was going to be SUPER low. The MAC MAs started handing out numbers, and luckily for me, I grabbed the first number out of everyone in my group that had waited outside with me. While I'm grabbing my number, the MA tells me and the lady right next to me not to worry about stock, because if they don't have what I want, they can do a "Search & Send", and find the item for me to ship it to me. That brightened up my spirits a lot, let me tell ya...By the time they get to my number (#9 to be exact), they are sold out of all the listicks...I repeat...ALL THE LIPSTICKS. All I wanted from this collection was DA & LG, so I tell the cashier I was told a Search & Send could be done for me to get the items I want. She flat out tells me "NO." At this point, I've had more than enough, and I say, "I was told by her *points to the lady that handed me my number* your fellow associated that a Search & Send could be done for me and this lady right next to me because we have been waiting outside since 9:20am to purchase a couple of lipsticks from your counter. It is only right that as a business you keep your word on something like this, especially to loyal customers like her & myself." Mind you, I didn't know the lady next to me personally, or anything. We chatted briefly about previous Mac collections, and it was only right that she got what she wanted, too. After sighing deeply in annoyance, the cashier finally gave in and told the MA that handed me my number to do a Search & Send for me.
I was SOOOO happy yall..I did a fist pump and errythang! Only messed up part about this is that because they were so busy, and because the MA was worried about other things, she messed up my billing address & shipping address. I found out about the mess up AFTER the fact, and had to call Macy's customer service ASAP to fix the problem so that the transaction could go through with no problems. If I would've known all this mess was gonna go down, I probably wouldn't have woken up as early as I did and gone to Macy's at all, but at the end of the day, I'm getting my lipsticks. I'm just busy asking myself...was it really worth all the trouble, stress, and drama? The MAC addict in me says "HELL YEA", but the other part of me is saying "Naw...." =\

So sorry that you're having such trouble with this.
I feel like stuff like that happens more and more often, packages dsappearing, damaged packages etc. I think I already posted how my laptop ''got lost'' with UPS.
Sometimes I'm nervous about MAC boxes being too recognizable because with the profit margin people can make on ebay it seems like more and more boxes will go missing.

That was a big mess to get your lipsticks, but I'm happy that you got them. For that reason, I would say it was worth it. Whether or not to do it again, now that's another issue.

OMG thats awful when i sent CYY to spanky i payed like $10 for the shipiping + tracking + $200 insurance so if they lost it she could buy it from ebay! the mail man looked at me like a was crazy. he oppened the lippie to make sure it wasnt gold or cocaine!!!
LOL, now that's funny.
