MAC for Marilyn

Well I decided to swing by south coast plaza on my way to meeting my husband at his work for lunch and checked the nordstroms Mac counter. I was mentioning to one mua about how they must've been wiped out. She mentioned that they had lipstick colors that were similar and that was what was displayed. The mua behind me in the aisle mentions that they still had deeply adored. I was shocked and was all you have deeply adored!!! Turns out they did and I bought one. Yay. I ordered legendary si and lg off of belk and legendarys already shipped. Plus if all goes well w my cp I'll get the bp and cis too. Hopefully luck will remain on my side. I guess good things do come to those who wait.

Do you guys know anything that can compare to it?

By the way, I ordered the BP and I'm NC25-ish, I hope it doesn't look ghostly or ashy on me, I thought that at least now in winter I can pull it off because I'm much paler.

I cant think of another gel liner that compares to it.. I really like it because on me it dries almost black, but without the harshness black sometimes has. I use it almost daily to tight line with my beloved 231 brush!

That's exactly how I thought it would be! Next time it'll be mine for sure.

What about Stila Illuminating Powder Foundation? It is probably heavier and won't give the pink/peach glow of FM, but it does have an "illuminating" finish that gives a semi-matte finish.

Also, someone mentioned the MAC Studio Careblend powder that will give the effect of the FM powder but without the pink/peach corrector aspect of the FM powder.

I'm still in shock reading all of these mini dramas. Based on all that everyone went through, including you UrbanSweetheart, I will avoid onsite shopping for MAC collections and stick to pre-ordering with my local store & MUA. I'm so glad you got to order the lippies that you wanted. I hope to see some pretty photos. BTW, I do watch your videos. You're very animated and very funny. Oh and you have a great singing voice!

The MAC Store on 22nd & 5th in NYC got a small shipment of some of the lippies. I just picked up CIS, SI & DA. LG & PZ are soldout. I'm sorry I forgot to ask if they do phone orders.

I'm surprised it's still in stock everywhere online other than HoF. Maybe there aren't many of us pale people in the UK? The girl in front of me in Debenhams today bought NW35 foundation, despite multiple MAs telling her it was waaaaaaay too dark! She was maybe NW20-25 and had the dreaded face-neck mismatch disease... Random fact about my day - when I was in ICU this morning a nurse offered me a flu jab, so I got stabbed with a needle and now have a dead left arm. Got a sticker though
