Still waiting to hear back from Macy's...just emailed customer service about my missing Scarlet Ibis for the second time. Wish me luck gals! I don't think I will ever order from Macy's again however.

On a brighter note I am LOVING my bp :) it's great all over for me to give a glow (i'm NC20) and preferred blonde is AMAZING as a highlighter

Reading through the forum has made me realize how absolutely grateful I should be to have such an awesome counter nearby. I read all the horror stories about pre-sale orders getting cancelled (or counters not even allowing pre-sales at all) and even though I called on Thursday and confirmed that all of my stuff was still set aside, I was still nervous. I let out a HUGE sigh of relief yesterday when I picked the order and everything was accounted for! I am so happy that I was able to get things without stalking the website or waiting in long lines.

I ended up with :

DA x 2, LG x 3, CIS x 2, PZ x 2, FM BP x 2, TPC x 2 and Legendary x 2.

I am keeping one each of DA, LG and TPC for myself. I originally had the BP on my list, but I'm currently NC35 and wanted to use it as a finishing powder. I don't think I'll get lighter than NC30 and I have a ton of highlighters, so other than being pretty, it doesn't really fit a specific need for me. I hope that I don't end up regretting it!!!

I am surprised to love DA so much. I was at the counter swatching things, and I thought I would skip DA b/c I already had Rocker, but while they are similar, it really is in a league of it's own! The MUA suggested that I pair it with Burgundy l/l and it was pure love for me. I don't think that I'll try tracking down a BU b/c I've never finished a lipstick (and this isn't a shade I'd use often), but it's nice to have.

All in all, while my personal haul was small, I'm glad I didn't skip it after all! Thank goodness I was able to secure items for CP, otherwise I probably wouldn't have bothered with the collection.

I've been lurking for years on Specktra and usually participate more on MUA but no one is talking about it on there almost at all, so I didn't know about Bloomingdales and their policy of canceling orders. :( I know for next time not to count on them!

I could never get into MUA. The layout of it just bothered me so I never use it other than to read reviews sometimes.

Thanks to Pinkdollface I now have a backup of FM and DA as well as the blushes. :) My MM haul should be done now. I have Charmed I'm Sure, Love Goddess, Deeply Adored 2x, Forever Marilyn BP 2x, The Perfect Cheek and Legendary. I already have Scarlet Ibis from Iris Apfel and I might get Pure Zen later on in regular packaging.

I agree with you. Love Goddess is not precisely Marilyn, but Surely Charmed or Deeply adored are ! Scarlet Ibis, well not really but it's so bright and beautiful. On my lips Love Goddess is really pink, a bright mute pink as you said.

Yeah idk about LG being very Marilyn, but a lovely specktrette posted a vid earlier of a mua at an event explaining that LG was created for Christan Hendricks and I have to admit that informed my purchase...just a little
