same here. i may get the brushes cause i dont think that the quality is that bad, but then i may not cause they always end up at the cco.

OH MAN!! Seriously, my list is constantly changing with details of new collections coming out and then more pics and information!! ARGGHH NOT HAVING ALOT OF LUCK STAYING STRONG!!!

Anyways, as I thought, seeing that bright pink lip bag, im all over it and thats staying on my list, but I am now iffy about the EDES because of the price and size of them but still sticking with the fluidlines! Those touch up kits with lipsticks, blush etc in them.. DAMNIT! thats now on my list I think instead of the brush bags

I'm so excited for this collection, I haven't been interested in a holiday pigment set since 2008, four years ago! Love the cute packaging of this whole collection. Definitely going to get that hot pink lip bag, and maybe the pink looking gloss set.

No real specifics here but I wanted to share an email I got from my favorite Nordstrom MAC counter manager. She's like alot of us..a bit jaded due to having so much makeup and pretty much seen it all. And she normally hates Nordstrom Anniversary stuff and Holiday stuff. When she gets excited, I take notice because it rarely happens. As an extra bonus we are skin and hair twins with the same taste.


Hi April! So, holiday…THE BEST EVER! And I’m totally serious when I say that. EVER. Of course you can preorder with me. Lets do it soon, I received my allocations this morning, and I want to get a head start on the madness that is surely to ensue. We have already preordered quite a bit just over the weekend. There is a Nordstrom exclusive, I love ALL of the color collection because they were very mindful of appropriate color this year. Just like you said, lots of purples, warmer…not some crazy lime green or sky blue items…which they have done in years past. This was pointed out to me at my MAC manager meeting a couple weeks ago. There are these DARLING “touch up” clutches. They hold a light, med or dark touch up powder, a little powder puff and a sheen supreme lipstick. And when the product is gone, you can take out the insert and use it as an actual clutch! It’s ridiculously cute. Part 2 comes out 11/8, same as years past, 3 different gloss sets and 3 different metal pigment sets. I’m never too crazy about these, however, they come in the most adorable mini hat boxes. I could go on and on…but I swear…BEST HOLIDAY COLLECTION TO DATE!!!!!!! We are having our Glamour Daze event 10/26 thru 10/28. Please come if you can!! The look book is in store! Come take a peek.

Awww, she seems very sweet! I'm glad you two are good friends. This makes me miss my MAC angel at my counter. Her name was really Angel, and she was the sweetest and most helpful MA I had ever seen. Unfortunately, she moved far. The rumor is she's not working for MAC anymore. I still miss her. I wish her the best.

The other ones were all EXTREMELY similar to the EDES of April. The light pink = young venus. The grey was exactly like Warm Thunder. The steely shade I didn't like (was it supposed to be black?). The purple one reminded me of one of the purples from EDES. The blushes looked dupable!

Ok, so the Nordstrom exclusive is one of the blush, lip combo sets. It is a neutral set, the ones at MAC stores only are pink and coral.

Where was the red lip bag found? I haven't heard anything else about it anywhere.

I was told MAC stores release the sets on the 25th and individual products on the 18th, then the lipglass and pigments on the 8th of November. Nordstrom said they have an exclusive that will not go to MAC and that it is the neutral one.

Oooo hadn't heard of these before. Interesting. Do you know if they're just a kit with powder blushes, or maybe like a cremeblend and a powder blush?
