Don't know, honestly, but last year they were $32 or $33. Considering the increase in prices this year, I'm going to guess they'll be around $34? Total guess, though.

thank you, that helps me estimate on how much I need lol. this collection is depressing me :( I've been holding back on spending on other things to afford it

the sets aren't going to be released the same time as the shadows and lipsticks right?

You mean the individual lipsticks and the EDES? No, they won't be released at the same time as the sets. From what I understand, the individual items are being released on Oct. 25, and the sets will be released a couple of weeks later. Not sure if the sets are Nov. 8 or 15.

Hope everyone has had a pleasant weekend!

Not sure if this question has been asked on the thread but what brush can be used for the EDSF's? I use the one that launched with the collection, cant remember the number and im too lazy to go look at it lol. But for some reason, with that brush when I use WOG it gives a beautiful JLo glow. However, Superb is a different story. Hardly really shows. Could it be the brush or the color? Im an NC44 so it should show quite nice on my skintone.

Can anyone please give me some advice on what technique or brush to use with it? I really love the color when i finer swatch it on my skin...which is why i bought it in the first place.

Thank you!

A lot of people say they use the small duo fiber brushes with the EDSFs, i personally use the MAC 109 brush and it works well for me! I'm NC20 and superb shows up reasonably well, but it does have different properties under different lighting. Sometimes it can look highly reflective and beautiful, at other angles/lighting it can look brownish/tan on my skintone. Hope that helps!

the 109 worked with one of my edsf's (i think superb), while the 'brush that was released with the ed collection' worked better for glorify.

I use 188 brush. I am nw20 and it shows up as a nice peachy sheen.

Well that's my plan for now...usually all hell breaks loose once I am in store with the products in front of me!

I think generally with the eyeshadow compacts (and other things), a lot of people just wait for them to hit the CCOs, which they always do. I ended up getting the warm set earlier this year from my CCO, back when I didn't understand just how cool toned I am! I can pull off the colors, but I have to add black over top of them to dull it out. I would like the cool toned set this year possibly, but I'm waiting until it hits my CCO either way.

I think getting the skinfinish, the lip products you want and the fluidline is smart strategy. I am assuming Superb and WoG will be among the first things to go at most places. I luckily already have Superb and can't pull off WoG, so I am good to go there. I bet Outrageously Fun lipstick goes fast most places too because it's bright pink, but mercifully that is the only lipstick or glass that I want! Yay for my wallet! LOL! I still need to figure out what fluidline(s) I want. I definitely want the pink one. I'm trying to limit myself to 2 ES for the time being.

If you don't have to have the brush set now, wouldn't be devastated if for some bizarre reason it sold out everywhere, and you have a CCO semi-near you, just wait until Jan. or Feb. to get it. As of last month, my CCO still has tons of all of last year's brush sets, as well as some from years past to boot. When I was on vacation, I popped in to 4 different CCOs, and I saw most or all of the brush sets there too.

I just read this about the dutch release on the 3rd of november http://www.beautyscene.nl/p/140781/mac_glamour_daze_holiday_collectie_-_nl_release_3_november_2012_
If those prices are real this is even more expensive than Marilyn. Seriously €24.50 for blush when they normally are €20 and were €22 with Marilyn and €21 for lipstick that is normally €18.50 and was €19.50 with Marilyn, that's just crazy! The only strange thing is that the EDSF are listed as €27.50 and those were €28 before.
I'm interested in the EDSF, Fluidlines, Kohl powers and one blush (I'm the one) right now. The shadows look pretty and maybe I'll get one or two, but they are so expensive.

I got a sneak peek of the goodies my SA pulled for me. I never even stood a chance of only getting a few things - this is going to be my hugest haul to date.

Hopefully, I can pull in some additional overtime to replenish my trip budget.
