Will the sets with the blush be released only at MAC stores and not online as well?

I'm pretty sure they will be online too.

I agree, it's pretty confusing. Maybe MAC is changing release dates for collections for pro stores to the same as freestanding/counters? Who knows...

I saw pro blushes yesterday. Pro pans, which is probably the only way they come.

ETA: They're still there. Shades like Rhubarb, Azalea, Cantaloupe, Salsarose, Devil. Those are pro right?

I totally agree with you on that. It's appalling! I think the only way to resolve this would be that current Pro members should be asked to provide proof that they are actually working full-time in the business. This action would certainly make it more difficult for those who received membership benefits but actually do not work in the industry anymore. However, I assume the logistics of this would be too difficult.

My only issue with the late releases on Pro is that the benefits of a Pro membership included the preview/sales before it hit the regular site. This benefit was spotty in the past as there was no set time frame when collections would go up on Pro. As many Pro members do not live close to a Pro store, this was (and hopefully still is) a very useful feature.

I don't think that MAC considers the MM release a fiasco. The hype was bigger than ever, so that's good news for MAC. From a business perspective, they are hitting all the right buttons. As of now, I hardly know anybody who stopped purchasing MAC because of the stressful shopping experience. If anything, people are just more pumped up and develop stalking strategies to get what they want.

Anyway, I'm still hoping for a Pro release soon as I want my BU's. LOL

I'm not working full time in my licensed area right now. Not even PT but I do work special events if I am contacted to do them. My license is current and valid. That's what one of the requirements is. How would one even "prove" they are currently working on "X" number of clients a week/month? Pay stubs? A lot of industry workers are independent contractors. MAC also takes some sketchy "proof" that one works in the industry because not every state requires a license for every discipline. I do agree that they should limit quantities because obviously some pro members are not in the industry at all and just have eBay stores to stock from their Pro purchases. Seems like they are not trying to track these purchases to stop this abuse.

Just talked to my Nordstrom MA she was telling me that they only recieved a little bit of stock on the sets :-/ Good thing I pre ordered weeks ago

Yup, I see them too. They have: Full Fuchsia, Azalea, Rhubarb, Salso Rose, Burnt Pepper, and Cantalope. If I missed one then I apologize and didn't know it was pro lol. Looks like Apple Red and Flame Red are missing.

i was trying to find Taupe blush on there but it isn't listed yet. as well as the white face and body foundation.

Are you talking about the gloss sets? I guess I should go to Nordstroms tomorrow. I want the rose and coral.

I like Superb more on my cheecks than as a highlighter. I use it as a base for blushes too or on the edge of the top of the blush. More like how I use msf.

I never thought to use any of the EDSFs or MSFs as a blush base. I will try this! I normally just apply Superb to the top edge of my blush. When I'm not feeling lazy and want to make more of an effort, I sometimes use it to highlight my forehead, nose, chin, brow bone and cupid's bow. I'm still practicing how to highlight. I haven't even attempted to contour yet. But I will try soon because I've ordered the Chanel Notorious contouring blush.

So one of my dear friends who works at a MAC counter in California called me last night. She was telling me that surprisingly not a lot of people had been putting pre-orders in for this collection. She said that she feels most of the customers prefer to see swatches first and that she doesn't have any swatches to show yet....disappointing! She also mentioned that they only got in 4 of the pink individual blushes....sorry forgot the name....yet that blush to her was the prettiest of the 3. I asked her about the fluidlines, she said they are to die for. I told her that i've been on the fence about it and she said i can always first line my eye with a pencil liner and then use the fl to line over it. It's a good idea because i'm not great at applying any gel or liquid eyeliner eventhough i love them.

Finally she mentioned something coming out only on black friday from 12am-4am which has a blush, eyeshadow, lipstick, and other things. I was like whaaaattttt. i need to make sure i am there! lol. Anyways just wanted to share that with you all. Have a great day everyone!

At my Nordstroms, here in Maryland, I was told that I could preorder (and did, two of the Lavish rose gloss sets) but they would not be released until November 8th. I don't know what their stock will be like but this store is usually pretty busy. Since I cannot get there until after work on Thursday the 25th, I am not sure what I will find in stock.

But the prices are pretty high and I cannot get everything I want right now. So I will try to cut down my list since I will want to buy MAC perm stuff at the Nordstrom holiday party.
