I am also thanking you for recommending the Clarisonic Mia, that sucker has made my skin so pretty that I can leave the house with a BB only and not full coverage foundation because I actually like my skin to show through.

I LOVE my Clarisonic. My skin hasn't looked this bright in years. I like it so much that I bought two as Christmas gifts (hubby and daughter). I'll wait to see if my son displays any interest. He has mild acne and I bet it would help clear it.

It's the most amazing device ever. I'm so thrilled you like it. While the initial cost is high, it's totally worth it as it will save you money in the long run.

I'm on the Clarisonic train too. Love it for what it does for the skin. And it travels well too.

A lot of (typical, macho, non-skin care) guys are starting to hear about the Clairsonic and it definitely appeals to their love of gadgets. They just sometimes need a little reassurance that it's not a "girl thing", but if you compare it to a sonic toothbrush, they'll feel better about it. :p

You can also hint around that it's great for dealing with ingrown beard hairs and/or keeping the skin really clean, but you need to play up the high tech gadget angle first!

One thing I've noticed after using mine for a few years now - combined with a good serum/moisturizer, it's helped rehydrate my skin to a much more youthful level - I attribute this to just a vastly improved blood circulation in my facial skin. It's worth every single penny, many times over!

i'm on the clarisonic band wagon too. i've had mine for about a year and my skin looks better than ever! of course i get the odd hormonal breakout on my chin but even that is rare these days. i no longer get dry flakey patches in the winter and my face is much smoother and i happily go without foundation because my skin tone looks more even. and of course it does actually clean my face! :p

What type of cleanser do you use? I use regular ol biore with my clarisonic but I have been wondering if there's something better because I still feel like my skin is dry

This is really the best part - no more dry patches.

I've been thinking about getting a Clarisonic but I'm on the fence. I have really sensitive, acne-prone skin (my skin can get really red just from using some scrubs) so I'm afraid that it will be too abrasive. Any thoughts? Thanks!

try looking in to the sensitive skin or delicate brushes, and low setting. You can also use the Clarisonic once a day instead of twice, or try a few times a week instead of daily. Good luck!

just get the sensitive brush
delicate brush is more for mature skin

and you dont have to use daily

I started carefully with mine, but now I use it twice a day. I'm not even sure if I have the sensitive or deep cleaning brush on at the mo; either way, neither of them bother my skin. My husband noticed right away what a difference it made. He tried mine once and then asked for his own. Since he's Mr. Frugal and the last one who ever thinks he 'needs' anything (he of the 'I don't want/need anything' Christmas/birthday list), I knew he really had to like it. They come in burgandy and hunter green now , so I think they're trying to appeal more to men.

That is EXACTLY the argument I made to get my BF on the Clarisonic train. He always seemed interested and would ask questions, but he was sold when I told him that it was developed by the inventor of Sonicare toothbrushes (which he uses and loves).

Do you still use the deep pore brush? And if so, is it ok to use everyday? I'm still using the sensitive brush head but am I thinking of switching over if it's safe to be used daily.

I have both the deep pore and the sensitive. I've had both in there for two week periods before; neither bother me. :)

That is why I haven't bought one.

Yes, yes, yes! God bless good serum & moisturizer. I've even added a type of Day Wear/serum solution. You are absolutely right!

I have one, don't like it, didn't do anything for me whatsoever. I've tried two different types of heads, but I don't see any difference whatsoever. I'm selling mine if anyone wants it.
