Ok. So I went back to my store today to try on stuff. I picked up Outrageously Fun (it was their last one) and Superb (also their last one). I was surprised to hear that they still have WOG available. I hope these photos help some of you. And dont judge the tired old lady in the photos. haha...

I saw someone ask about seeing Beauty on lips so I took some photos. Not the greatest but I figure it will work.I hate it on me. But it will probably look gorgeous on one of y'all.







Next up is Flight of Fancy - I cant remember now if this is the one I put Beauty on underneath or not. Either way... Definitely not for me either.





Break time. Here are the eye pencils. That greenish one is pretty. I can't remember what its called. I'm tired.



I compared Glamourdaze with Syrup. Happy to see they are nothing alike.

I knew Beauty wasn't the right one for me.. too pale and pink! Sadly also Glamourdaze is "too dark".. I wanted something more "pinky plum" just like in your second picture where you blotted it

I bet its all in the application. I went straight for "here it is with no liner, no gloss, just straight up lipstick. So not for me, and I knew it when I saw the swatches. GlamourDaze is really pretty. I bet if you went with a light application, which is what I will probably do, it will be great. I like syrup for my pink-y plum color.

Hmmm glamourdaze looks quite dark. Idk if i like it like that. So it might Come off my list . OT : i posted this in the mac chat live part but maybe ill get a quicker response here.. For some reason anytime i go to maccosmetics.com on my phone it takes me to the canadian website and im from the US. There is also no longer an option on the mobile site to switch to full site. Am i the only one this happened to?????? When glamourdaze releases i wont be able to order from anywhere on my phone because idk how to put it back to the us site

When glamourdaze releases i wont be able to order from anywhere on my phone because idk how to put it back to the us site

try logging in to your account. usually the reverse happens to me (thinks i'm in the us, and i'm in canada.), and when i log in, the system realizes my country settings.

I went to my MAC store today and was able to look at everything & swatch. Surprisingly I only did presale for Beauty & In the Limelight. I think I'm going to have to call them back tomorrow and also get the Lavish Rose set...can't stop looking at these swatches!

Yay! This is what I preordered yesterday along with the coral gloss set.

Beautiful! so glad i ordered it =) going to have to double check on the date that my sales girl gave me for pickup...she said i can pick up the 17 on nov but these come out on the 8th. The trend show at nords is on the 17th so idk if they arent releasing the sets until then?/ i gotta find out when i pick up my order on the 25!

Did you order from Valley Fair...I did too. I thought she said 11/8. I wish I could remember the SA name. She knows mine.

The only glaze lipsticks I have are Whirls & Twirls and Eloquent Air from G&I. I've worn W&T multiple times, and it is awful on me! Even with Prep & Prime Lip, it shrinks my lips up and makes them look like a dried raisin in about 2 minutes flat. I've avoided all other glazes since then and haven't even attempted to try EA yet.

Is there some trick to making the glaze lipsticks work? Or is this just a weird quirk reaction my lips have to that finish?

I use lip balm under my Mac lipsticks. jack black. They do suck out the moisture on mine but if I put lip balm on every time I reapply they look better.

Thanks for your great swatches. I actually like the way the purple gloss looks on you and how it plays with your green eyes. And I love your glasses, you are very beautiful. Maybe it might be worth it stepping out of your comfort zone for the gloss?

Yes Beauty leans lilacy, it's a very pale pink with lilac undertones. I tried it today ( people stared because here very pale lipsticks are unsual ), I put " Rouge " on my cheeks, just a little touch of Rouge and Beauty as a lipstick. It was nice ! It's a pretty shade even if it's really pale. When I removed it, clearly it was pink/lilac. Maybe my lips are too pigmented for that kind of colour, it will be perfect if you have a medium lip pigmentation.
Glamour Daze reminds me of Offshoot but it's more red, very beautiful.
