Ack, this doesn't help! I went over to Nordstrom.com and have the Guerlain Dragon Meteorites sitting in my cart. :doomed: How long do Guerlain holiday or LE items usually last? Do they sell out quickly and restock?

It depends on the product. Most of them, from my experience will still be there for awhile. It's not a mad dash like Mac. Some items like pretty looking powders fly fast, though. I bought one highlighter from NM earlier this year and it was gone within a week.

Uggh, you guys are so bad :haha: I just put the Dragon Meteorites on hold for tomorrow when I go to Nordies. it was their last one. They only had one left of the eye & lip palette.

I just want that gold rouge automatique shine or whatever it's called. I love those lipsticks and I want a light gold one. Bloomingdales didn't have it last I checked. I would've loved to buy it along with the illusion d'ombre. Instead I got Mac's Coppertone blush b/c I can never really order just one thing. Oh and because I must say this everyday: I WANT ULTRA :crybaby:

Well I love the sheer gold one that I have from MAC. I can't remember what the name is right now. It was LE

But yes, that lipstick looks lovely. The golds are awesome over other ls colors.

The Ruffian shade? I skipped that one. I have a gold MUFE lipstick, but that one is seriously opaque. I'd like something sheer like this to work with other colors, like you said. Plus, I love the formula on these (and the packaging).

Both Guerlain and Armani have this tendency to throw something like that into their collections every now and again. I swear they do it just to see if you're paying attention. Everything in the collection will be their normal prices and then there'll be one unassuming item that costs $200. I don't care what it does for me, I can't justify the expense.

Hubs just checked it out & I guess it is an AGV false positive which was fixed by updating the AVG again. That virus stuff freaks me out.

Well, I did not get a call from my Nordies today, so looks like probably no Holiday to get this weekend. Oh, there is also another big bag of goodies (like bloomies) that you get at Nordies beside the black patent Chanel goody bag. I'm not a fan of them because they are mostly all perfumes eh

. I've only layered it over red lipsticks so far. I need to play with it over other colors. I know it will look stunning over purples and deeper shades.

The extra goodie bag is the Nordstrom beauty GWP. I'm not sure if there is a certain amount you have to spend. If so, its usually only like $50. Then there is the Black Patent Chanel bag filled with product.

I agree, the gold ls will make those purples & plums amazing.

Oh Guerlain products are just horrible. Avoid buying them at all costs. Not really - LOL. It is just that "getting into" Guerlain is as slippery & expensive a slope as Chanel. Once the flood gates open.....

I consider it both frustrating and fortunate that we haven't got a distributor for the TF makeup line up here. The lipsticks are available, but that's it. I even try to avoid looking at those...

Winthrop - I guess I was too heavy with Mulberry, but I don't want it now anyway, I want this quad!

I saw the collection, and the brush set with short handles. My counter didn't get the liquid eyeliner. The gold IdO swatched a little sheer, but I think someone said it is buildable. I'm unsure if I need it. I didn't try Malice on my nails but I opened the bottle to see the liquid and it was beautiful, though I think the colour is dupeable and I'm not excited about such nail polish colours anymore, so I'm not sure if I need it. I tried the burgundy shade of the quad on my eyes lightly and I could pull it off, so I'll be getting it. I love all the colours and the texture is divine! I want the lightest glossimer too. The JC is mainly just lots of multi-coloured shimmers, like the shimmery loose powder Chanel brings every Christmas. It is pretty for a party look but not for every day looks.

The brush set has similar brushes as last year's. I think only the slanted powder brush is replaced by the round powder brush. The pouch comes with a detachable mirror in the middle, and I think it is a nice touch. The brushes are soft and I like this foundation brush more than the new full size foundation brush. I'll be getting it because I like to collect the brush sets. The snow globe and the display were very festive!

For the holiday collection I a down to Malice n/p and maybe L'Impatiente.

Is your Ultra Rose baked or non-baked formula? Can't wait for you to try it! Do you mean Malice nail polish or the JC? I'm not sure about both of them.

It is in the baked formula and it is lovely, just melts into my skin. The Malice I meant above was the blush, they should not reuse names I wanted malice blush forever, but somehow I did not feel it yesterday. The Malice n/p is definitely coming home with me Did you not like the baked ultra rose? Let me know how you'll like the quad, even though I think I am staying strong on it.
