I just placed my order for forever Marilyn pure zen legendary TPC and charmed I'm sure ! Sadly deeply adored which is the one I mostly wanted was sold out

I think love goddess and deeply adored were the first that sold out.. When I checked, they were gone long before I could see the option to add to cart..

waiting for mac to put the this collection up had my stomach in knots so as soon as i heard Nordstrom had it up i ordered 3 of the lipsticks. i wanted a lip glass but needed to see swatches and was paranoid if i wasted time paying my stuff would be sold out. oh well atleast now i can be able to sleep. plus i used ebates so ill get some cash back ... yay! lol

Outrageously Fun isn't anything like Candy Yum Yum.

There isn't an emoticon for my face while watching that. On the upside, Outrageously Fun and Glamour Daze lipstick look more appealing than in anything else I've seen of it. Those pale lipsticks, though? A big HELL NO. Definitely not made for me. Tyrone Biggums lips. I give up chasing colors like that. I was going to order the lip bags and then pick them up, but I see shy girl is in the coral bag and that doesn't look like it'll work on me. So, now I've soured on the pink bag, too. I'm really nonchalant about this right now. I will need to see it in person. Maybe tomorrow b/c I wouldn't get to Nordstroms until much later than I'd like.

I went ahead and placed my order. Don't feel like waiting for MAC and I get bonus rewards on my credit card through Nordstrom. I just got a few more items to complete the things I originally purchased from the Glamour Daze event. I was tempted to add Round Midnight EDES to my cart to have them all, but I'll wait to swatch it again to make sure it's a skip for me.

Pending my Round Midnight re-swatching, I think I'm done with this collection. I was tempted by the Lickable set, but the mini lip pencil bothers me and I'm not drawn to the bag. I thought I might want the purple Cremesheen/Dazzleglass set. The colors are beautiful, but I've lost interest. I don't know. I may get these things later if they show up at a CCO, but I can live with not having them if they don't. I think I'm just ready to move on to the next collections.

These restocks are really a gamble. Not only you have to be online at the right time, you also have only a few seconds to press the submit button.

I am torn on how I feel about the different release dates.

On one hand, I applaud MAC for sticking to their "official" release schedule and hope that this a permanent thing for them. People wouldn't have to waste time stalking the website if MAC was reliable and posted collections according to schedule.

But I DON'T like that Nordstrom was able to release the collection first, but that's coming from a purely selfish standpoint LOL. I order almost all of my MAC items either through in-store pre-orders (Nordstrom counter, not MAC store) or when Nordstrom launches their collection on Monday morning. I usually only order what's on my "A" list. Since MAC usually has the collections up earlier, things don't typically sell out as fast on the Nordies site and I have a day or two to think about what else I need want. But since MAC hasn't released the collection yet and (judging by MM) quantities may be more limited, I feel like I HAVE to buy everything on my "B" list now or risk missing out on them. I mean I could buy directly from MAC or through another retailer site, but I love the pick up in store option.

With that said, I ordered the rest of the items on my list for in store pick up today. I will probably swatch them again today and think about my BNIB items. If I decide that I don't need something, I will post it in the bin. Blah. I hate rushing!

Just realized that in all the rush to get everything ordered, I bought more EDES than I told myself I would. I feel like MAC is ripping me off, but I LOVE the formula (SO MUCH MORE THAN MES). Dang it MAC, you got me again! So much for my so-called self control.

I just put in a Nordies order for Mystery, Orpheus, and Catch my Eye fluidline. I wanted a pigment set too but didnt' see it up there, looked all over for it. I too used Ebates, and Nordstrom also throws in 3 free samples of stuff as well as the free shipping so I always feel like I did better with my money ordering from them.

I skipped all the EDES. The colors are just not unique enough for me (who hoarded the last round of large ones ) to spend that kind of coin on tiny posts when I have backups of the big ones.

OF does look gorgeous, but they seem really different to me.

Definitely true about those few seconds! I had SI in my cart, ready to go, and as I signed into my paypal account, it sold out! Lol. But it's okay because I have 1 Iris bu and 2 from MM... one my favorite lipsticks!

That's not even the reason for my...loss of words. That first lipstick just was not working.
