Swatches from Divine Desire Face Kit I blogged today

Divine Desire Blush, Purple Dash Technakohl, Heart To Heart Lipstick and Warm Embrace Lipglass

I switched it. That pink looks WAY too pretty to pass up. The coral was pretty in swatches but honestly... I'm more of a pink gal! p.s. I totally didn't even realize I was commenting on your instagram pic until I saw you post it on here. I thought you looked familiar. haha.

If you guys ordered online for in-store pickup, wait for the email saying it's ready. I'm pretty sure that someone from customer service pulls the item from stock and processes the order. I got an email informing me it was ready AND a phone call

Just checked with mine. She said it was a no-go. Ahh.. Oh well. My Nordstroms is 5 mins away too and on my way home from work. I've got to go to the Pro Store (same mall) to pick up my Devine Desire set so its a win win.

Same here.
I will have to stalk Douglas, can't shop at Pieper, I always get an error when I try to place an order. So annoying. Please let me know when you get a reply from Douglas!! I hope I don't miss the release.

Oh that sucks :( I sometimes prefer Pieper to Douglas. they are faster with the shipping and well fast with answering emails ;)

But yes I will let you know when I know something new :)

I didn't order online. I pre-ordered. No biggie though. I've picked up enough already from the collection so I feel ok.

Yup, that's the email I'm waiting to get. I've never received a phone call before. That's neat.

Two votes for Small Vanity! Ugh, it looks so pretty but I literally have run out of space. But we all know I'm going to end up buying it, so I might as well order it now so it's available for pick up by the time I'm done with work!
so i just woke up and i saw like 200 posts, i was like omg its up and nothing. im gonna wait for mac.com. or maybe go to the mall in an hour. i love nordstrom, their costumer service, when i go to the store i feel comfortable shopping. they are amazing but i hate their shipping!! it takes them a whole week to deliver my stuff. i hate that.
It's the opposite for me and MAC. If I order directly from them, it sometimes takes over a week, but with Nordies, it's so much faster. Plus, I usually choose in-store pickup since I live near so many of them, hehe.

Ah, gotcha. I was trying to keep track of the convo, sorry!

I actually pre-ordered as well (split between two counters) but I'm thinking about cancelling one of the orders. I was too impatient and ordered everything online. We'll see. I'll play with the stuff tonight and see if BU's are necessary. If not, maybe I can help someone else out.

yeaaa their shipping sucks for me, too. I believe if I lived on the East Coast, my orders would get to my faster...oh well!

Of course other brands are even more expensive here.
But compared to the US they are overpriced IMO. (I had a look at the Nordstrom site which automatically shows me the US prices converted in Euros, and a l/s is just 12-13 Euro there!) And the price keeps getting higher. So I might as well spend a couple of Euros more on higher end l/s, where I feel the formulas are nicer and they are actually worth that high price.
Also I feel the quality in MAC l/s can differ a lot. One can have a smooth and even application and feel nice and hydrating, another one can look patchy and feel drying. And since I order all my MAC online I don't want to take that risk of ending up with a lippie I hate (well there's always a risk, but I want to keep it as minimal as possible). So if I see swatches that make me doubt if a l/s has a nice formula, I rather invest in a high end brand one where the quality is more consistent. I hope that makes sense :)
Yes of course that does make sense. I don't know much about the US prices, I know it's cheaper but that's all. I think M.A.C lipsticks last long ( over 2 years without any change in texture ), my Urban Decay or Two Faced lipsticks are not so good, the Chanel ones are perfect and the Nars too. The quality depends a lot on texture esp. with M.A.C products. I store them all in a box away from light ( this is really very important, plastic boxes are no good at all ). I totally agree high end lipsticks are very good, I love M.A.C but also all French brands and others. 20 €- 30 € is acceptable for a good lipstick but of course I wish prices were lower. Yes some M.A.C lippies are very dry, so are the Nars ones ( semi-matte ) or even some Rouges Coco. The new textures ( YSL Pur Couture Mat, Burberry even if I haven't tried them yet, etc.. ) will be better for the lips, long wearing too.
