Temptalia's swatches don't make a good impression either. Such a shame, because it is a very unique colour for a fluidline.
Perhaps you could visit a counter and swatch it in person before you return it? I sometimes find that bloggers use too much product when they are swatching fluidlines so that the colour shows well. But then they end up with a clumpy uneven mess for exactly the same reason.

exactly why i wanted to get it. most eyeliners from other brands are hot pink not a soft pink like feminine edge.

I have not been able to catch up (need to work about 30 pages) for a few days, but just wanted to share this: I just popped into my Mac and was bummed (and most of all happy) to see all the Devine Desires Exlusive Face Kits, including the Nordstrom Exclusive! WTF, they have send the Nordstrom Kit (well, all 2 of them) to Northern Europe, it's not even on Mac.com!
Personnally, I'm not interested in the Norstrom kit, but pre-ordered the Coral one (aren't the other kits also Mac only = not Counter items? We have only a counter.) Also pre-ordered the purple mini gloss kit, green pigments, and the Mineralize Brush Kit.
They did not have any testers yet, so my order form the Glamour Daze is not yet finalized. It seemed though that they had not received multiple items, so I reserved a DE lippie. But I'm not sure. If it is just a really dark red purple with no blue or brown, I really can't pull it out. (I will just clush with my reddness.) + I don't think the GD lippie will interest me. Partly for the same reason as DE.

After seeing swatches of the ED eyeshadows I'm not at all sure now that I'm going to buy lots of them. Most of the colours are either a bit meh or very similar to existing colours. At the moment the only ones I'm considering are Natural Flirt, Divine Blue, Stolen Moment and maybe TD&H. Bit disappointed to be honest, but on the other hand it doesn't hurt if I don't have to buy all 8 of them. I still like the look of the fluidlines and will probably get the pigment sets, but that's it for me I think.

I'm on a lipstick no-buy, so no lippies. There's one lipglass I'm considering, but probably won't get. Maybe Easy Manner blush, but again, it's not THAT special. I bought both Skinfinishes last year, so I'm all set for those.

re L/G: which one are you considering? The only one that's caught my eye so far has been Flight of Fancy. And there is the purple gloss set that will be released later...
I might be lacking in willpower but I sure as hell can make up for it with my exponentially growing makeup collection. Teehee.

I don't know if this has been answered already. I'm still trying to work my way through nearly 550+ posts. I really like Whisper of Guilt. The gold sheen is very pretty. I may even like it a bit more than Superb.

It looked like Allura's swatches on me, which is why when I saw T I got confused. Maybe I applied it on too heavily. IDK.

When I was at the pro store the other day the SA was trying so hard to get me to like it but it was just so clumpy. I barely used any when testing it and it seemed chunky and flaky.

I think T pictures are slightly warmer. I'm not sure.
Is it possible that T has deeper skin tone to Allura and therefore lipsticks look different on both, just a thought.

The secret is owning 400 lipsticks and having a dupe for pretty much everything released... ever. I really only like 2 of the 5 lipsticks, and just how many hot pink lipsticks do I need anyway?

T's swatches always look different from reality. A's swatches I find a little underwhelming. I like Karen's best, even though she has the darkest skintone.

Did you like it? When Temptalia posted her sneakpeak swatches I called my MAC to preorder glamourdaze and now, im rethinking that. We will see today.
