As i posted about 4 days ago, Boys Go Crazy is all i really want from the Guilty Passions Lavish Rose Lip Gloss box set. But i can't justify spending $32.50 on the box just to get one mini-gloss
It is such a beautiful color, but I am passing since it reminds me of the Estee Lauder Purple Passion Sequin Finish gloss that I bought over the summer.

SOmetimes ACW sells just the individual glosses, so I was thinking of waiting for it there? Then there is a chance of missing out though.

Hey I remember you ordered ur lipgloss the same day as me on belk did they ship it to you yet?
I just got off the phone with them and they said it should ship tomorrow and it usually takes 4-7 business days so tomorrow would be the 4th business day so will see. Did you get yours yet or get the status?

I have BL Black Kinghtni love the color but my bottle was very thick sticky and didn't apply evenly. I had to layer it and top coats about 3x each to make it look good then it would just chip and come off like. sticker . so inordered ETG hoping it would be better. I'll give it a shot but if it acts the same they are BOTH going back!! I can't wait to get my lavish rosé set! my WOG and a natural flirt should be there when I hey home! plus my blue orbit ;). still hoping my IS lipglass is o. it's way. I really want a min green box that the pigments come in but I don't kno how to use pigments! I like the green set

This is why I hate MAC Australia.

Went into my local counter today during my lunchbreak, to check if the release date is still next Mon (5 Nov). They confirmed that some things will be released then, and some on 19 Nov. They cannot (are not allowed to) tell me if we will get the whole collection here in Australia (we don't always get the whole collection), or what will be released on the 5th and what will be released 2 weeks later. When I asked them why they aren't allowed to say if the whole collection will be released here (I was specifically asking about the pigment sets), I was told it was to "create buzz". I said its not creating buzz, all its doing is encouraging some of us to go ahead and buy from the US, at least that way I know I'll get what I want. The manager then said "The MAC US website doesn't ship to Australia". I laughed at her and said you've got to be kidding right? There's other ways of getting things from the US.

MAC Australia, if you expect us to pay twice the US prices, you've got to treat us well in return.

Oh well, MAC Australia, you can kiss my money goodbye.

Parceliton, here I come.

End rant.

Urgh, this is why I am so over MAC Australia!! I called my local counter last week and the SA told me it would be released on the 19th of November, but couldn't be sure of this. I took it with a grain of salt, as MAC Aust dates are all over the place and are quite frankly a little disorganized. (Luckily I had already purchased my lot from the US with a parcel forwarding service). We basically get charged double the price and have half the products available.

MAC devotees will find a way around any obstacle (including not being able to ship internationally by using parcel forwarding services etc) so MAC should take note of this and reasonably price internationally in accordance with US prices (I don't mind a little increase because of freight/overheads etc but to charge double is outrageous).

Retailers and companies over here in Australia have been complaining in the past couple of years that the rise in online shopping from the US is running them out of business ... this is the nature of a competitive market ... they need to be innovative and adapt to changing consumer patterns, if that means lowering their considerably inflated prices, then so be it.

End rant. Ha!
