Does anyone know where to find a tutorial on how to do the glamourdaze eye look? Similiar to the promotion model...

Alright here's my review on the Divine Desire kits and A Natural Flirt.
http://www.warpaintandunicorns.com/2012/11/mac-holiday-divine-desire-glamour-daze.html

Also my A Natural Flirt EDES broke at the base so I will be posting a tutorial on how to repot them tomorrow. >_<
I saw a couple of these at the Mac store. Hope mine comes intact.

Okay, just received my last package (yeah, right) and I'm in love with Easy Manner blush. It reminds me of Stray Rose, which used to be my lazy day HG, except I don't have to pack on nearly as much of Easy Manner for it to show up.

Also swatched Stylishly Merry and think I may need more of the EDS. I liked them upon original release, but these GD shades are super tempting!

I used this one for my look yesterday. Although I omitted the lower lashes cause I couldn't get them to stay... I think they were too long and might have been too nuts for work. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-TnMSLF1QU&feature=plcp

I tested Boys Go Crazy yesterday, and i really love it. But i know i wouldn't wear at least 2 of the glosses in that set, so i didn't order. Sigh. So what is ACW?

I did order the Sweetly Smoky box of purple pigments. I can see some other uses for them besides on the eyes.

33 yrs!!!!!!!!!! Congrats! You don't look like you've been around long enough to have been married longer than I've been alive. Whatever you all are doing, keep it up because it's obviously working :) Blessings be with you two in your marriage for many more years to come.

Boys Go Crazy is the main gloss that interested me in the set since I already have Color Saturation with a BU. I think I would get my money's worth by getting the one YSL gloss over the four mini set in this case. The YSL gloss also seems more luxurious to me since it contains bits of real gold. Does anyone have both to compare?
Thanks for the idea! (yeah, i have Funtabulous, too :)

Boys Go Crazy is really gorgeous, but not worth the whole set to me, since i won't use the 2 Cremesheen glosses for certain, and maybe not even the other Dazzleglass.

I have a YSL lipstick from winter 2010-11, Rouge Volupté Perle in Mesmerizing Purple #106 (i think it was LE). It's a pearlized deep violet-purple. It's the most expensive lipstick i own and I don't wear it often, but when i do i get lots of compliments. I don't know how YSL glosses are, but that lipstick goes on like a dream; the finish is not really matte, but it isn't glossy, and it has a pearl finish, so it has an arresting look; and the color stays for hours as long as i drink no hot beverages.

From photos, the base color of both glosses is similar, but the glimmer in the YSL is golden, while in the MAC it's kinda multi-colored. The YSL is more sophisticated, but the MAC is more "fun". So I'm gonna hafta check out the YSL gloss in person, plus the Golden Chocolate. I was considering a trip to a dept. store for some Estée Lauder Violet Underground lip products anyway.

And i want to see if Lancome still makes my foundation, Renergie Lift, since sephora stopped carrying it. It took me 2 years of testing well over two dozen different HE foundations at sephora and at dept. stores -- plus several DS brand utter failures -- and i hate to start the process all over again... but i already have, just in case...

I'm wearing:
-- Stylishly Merry again today - on my lids just to the crease - nothing in or above the crease - my skin care products make my upper eye area under my eyebrows shiny enough.
-- Feminine Edge again, too. I put it on after SM e/s, along my outer lash lines - upper and lower - with a smudge brush.
-- Local Wares Fluidline after i put on FE. I'm a tight liner kinda guy, so it's just right on my lash line. I'm not a total convert to gel liners, but i do own enough of them - MAC and several other brands - so i do wear them fairly often. I rarely put anything in my waterline because my eyes are a bit sensitive, so i have no idea if LW works there - FE clearly won't because of the big glitter bits.
-- mascara, which i rarely wear because it's such a pain to get off.

(edit) first i did my brows with Omega matte eyeshadow, i forgot to say.

And i'm wearing Famously Fab lip gloss, which a thoughtful Specktralite picked up for me at a CCO - it arrived in the mail yesterday. It was part of last winter's Tour De Fabulous collection. My local MAC didn't get a tester of it, so i didn't pre-order it. It's almost MLBB - my lips but bluer - although not a lot bluer. I'll also have to test it over lipstick. The color is nice, but i imagined it a bit more violet based on on-line photos. At least i don't have many glosses in this color. It's a very usable day-to-day color for me.

So i'm happy today - and we've got some sun which cheers me up - along with GIANT fluffy white (rain?) clouds - we get most of our rain in the winter, so rain clouds are not unusual, but big poofy white ones are.

Curse those pics of the Lavish Rose set. I keep staring at BGC. I like all 4 actually. I could see layering the top two if needed for opacity issues. Curses lol. At least it's a good deal and I could use the cute hat box for storing something lol. My husband so doesn't get it either and is all like you don't need anymore make up blah blah blah.

I apologize if this has been asked before, but does anyone know when they will restock some of the items? I wanted to get my hands on Impossibly Sweet Lipglass.

I pre ordered one of the hanging bags almost two weeks ago and never got a call to say it was ready to be picked up :/ Should I visit the store (after Sandy passes) and ask? I wanted to check out the mineralize brush kit, anyway
The stores had very limited quantities of the hanging bags. I would call pronto. I love the bag and the Mineralize brush set!
