MAC Taste Temptations Collection (November 2012; December 2012)

Wow, I think I liked this collection better before the color story and when we were calling it Tuxedo Lesbians. Love the promo picture, hate the fact that most of the eye products are already perm or promo from prior. I am still on a gloss no buy and none of these descriptions is making me want to break that. I am pretty excited about some mattenes in the purple range but not too much else. Of course I am a quad whore but do I need two navy e/s and yet ANOTHER copy of carbon? Even I am thinking of skipping the quad.

My very short list is Unconventional, Seductive Intent, and Nocturnal Instincts. Although all of those are actually cool sounding names now that I see them typed.

We can rename it just for you. ROFL

The goofy thing is, when I saw the promo picture in the book, I didn't really look that closely and thought it was two girls.....but it's actually a girl and a very thin, delicate guy - so no Tuxedo Lesbians in the first place - just Tuxedo Metrosexuals

It won't be a lot of $$$$ for me either.. I'm definitely interested in purple and lavender lippies and I will have to see about the lavender blush.. and like you I don't want the quad unless they are sold as individual eyeshadow I might consider a couple..)))

Good Times came out with Mac Me Over last year, and it was rather milky, so I'm staying away from that one unless the formula has improved. Revenge is Sweet does look very purple in the tube, but it comes out as pink on the lips. Very curious to see whether it's an entirely different shade altogether with the same name from VV or not.
So my wish list for now is:

Revenge is Sweet l/g
Perky l/g
Unconventional blush
Passionately Tempted blush

Maybe a blush. Maybe not. I have never tried purple blushes or lipsticks. How do they look on NC10? I just dont see them looking good on me. lol
I do LOVE purple eyeshadow. If the quad is fantastic, i may pick that up.

Purple looks good on pretty much everyone. That's why you'll see a ton of people here go nuts for anything purple.

Thanks for sharing this info, I didn't remember that Good Times was a repromote.
I searched some swatches and it is really pale and milky, so I am removing it from my list.
I hope some day my beloved Curvaceous l/g will be repromoted, I really liked that one, (but it became bad quite soon though... smelled like plastic

today I've asked a Mac mua some info about launches here in Italy but she didn't talk about Taste temptation...
this is what we'll have:
Dicember------> pressed pigments (nothing more)
January---------> Apres chic, a new mascara, new shades of studio fix, concealer palette
February---------> Srenght, Viva glam, Ash volcanic exfoliator which WILL BECOME PERMANENT
April----------------> brow collection and making pretty

I guess Archie's girls will be in march

so.. no Taste temptation for us? I still don't know!

I had the same problem with mine! Beautiful colour, but it started to turn very quickly.
