Seriously good for you for trying it. Best of luck. You'll feel like an amazing woman at the end of the month when you see all you've accomplished.

Taupe shape sounds similar to Chanel Notorious!
I'm skipping the temptations collection just to pick up Party Parrot, pink pingeon. Now that i see the description of the blushes... maybe BOTH will come home with me. Only if they are fantastic. I'm trying to limit what I buy to the must-haves.

Everytime I see Lust lipstick, I literally lust after it.

We need this lippie brought back asap. and a Lavender Blue Violet lip pencil would rock it out of the ball park for me. Yes, MAC, please more Blue (Blue) Violet lippies in the not-to-distant future for us!!!!
Have you tried Illamasqua Kontrol? That sucker is BLUE! Illamasqua calls it a blue violet, but I don't know if it's the kind of colour you have in mind. It's pretty dark.

I'd been eyeing it ever since it was released in the Theatre of the Nameless collection and finally caved in when they had a 30% discount on it a few weeks ago. I was really intimidated by it when I first received it because my tube of Goes and Goes was too tame (and warm) next to it! LOL. I have it on for the first time today and I'm pleasantly surprised how wearable it turned out to be.

Kontrol is awesome!!! The wear is great too (waaay better than Magnetism) and it's not at all drying for a matte.

I'm going to layer a bit of Violate over it the next time I wear it.

As always I guess I'll take the 5 lipsticks ( matte ! ), I know they are beautiful even if I haven't seen any picture yet. I took Glamour and Daze 5 lipsticks, I very often take the whole collection never disappointed so far. These look bold esp the black one, well sounds very very promising. I love the promo photo, just great !

My box of lovely Illamasqua lip products arrived yesterday afternoon (i missed the big discount

). I tried them on last night, but the lighting in my house s**ks. So my impressions are somewhat limited...

-- Kontrol Lipstick ("blue violet") is a quite dark -- darker than i had thought -- blue-violet that is only very slightly greyish. It is VERY matte. I had it on my wish list for ages and i'm happy with it.

-- Underworld Lipstick ("iridescent blueberry violet, shimmer finish") is not quite fuchsia (thank goodness!), but is a medium-light, pinky purple, magenta color that is matte, with a bright blue duochrome sheen that really stands out. I was so afraid the base color would be too bright for me after i saw it in a shop. But somehow it works - i think its matte-ness mutes it slightly. I'm excitedly wearing it today, after checking it out in daylight.

Both are not, in my opinion, truly drying, but they are very far from moisturizing, and people who expect lipstick to feel slippery or moist may think them dry. Fragrance is listed in the ingredients and i get a hint of vanilla.

And because i seem to never have too much purple, i also got:
-- Fierce Intense Lipgloss ("bright blue purple") is a nice medium blue violet gloss. I got it to partner with Kontrol on some occasions
-- Boost Intense Lipgloss ("blueberry violet") is magenta with blue duochrome, just like Underworld, but in a gloss, so its base color seems brighter.

Illamasqua glosses are VERY SHINY and not sticky. They moisten and soften the matte lipsticks when worn together, for those times you want either more shine or more moisture.
The glosses have a fruity scent I do not like - in fact, i was surprised they had such a fruity smell. However, i can live with it since it isn't as disgusting as some DS products, has no flavor, and fades fairly soon.

Go Team Purple!

Still on my Illamasqua wish list are:
-- Violate Sheer Gloss - "dark green shimmer"
-- Gender Intense Gloss - ("bright sky blue") aqua turquoise
-- Apocalips Lipstick - ("teal, matte finish") sky blue aqua turquoise
-- Medium Pencil in Debonair - "bright sky blue"
-- Fetish Lipstick - "bright blueberry violet, matte finish"

I dunno, i may be adding a new addiction, on top of my MAC fetish... (why, yes, i did get the mostly purple pigment set and the lip gloss set with Boys Go Crazy from Guilty Passions)

So my potential disappointment over Strong Woman is fading, while my excitment for Firm Form continues unabated.

From photos on the 'net, Taupe Shape appears satin or perhaps matte, while Notorious appears to have sheen or shimmer. I'm not sure just how different their colors are - Notorious seems to be a tad greyer, but i haven't seen it in real life...

i aslo found this one about a new strobe lotion
macalberta.jpg

and here's what elle magazines says:
When it comes to creating Spring Summer 2013's sun kissed glow, MAC have clearly been doing more extra homework. A new Bronze Strobe Liquid Lotion will be added to its existing light-reflecting line. Topped with the previously unseen Poised and Taupe Shape Powder Blushes in a confident swipe from one cheekbone to the other, catching the bridge of the nose en route, plus a curtain of side swept hair bobbi-pinned in place over one ear and the Californian preppster just went straight to the top of our new beauty season class.

I'm so thrilled to see more brown and bronzey blushes. It will take time to get used to brown cheeks, but it's certainly more wearable than orange blush (though I don't want to be without Modern Mandarin).

I don't find brown blushes hard to wear as long as they have a pink or cool undertone like Blushbaby, Pink Tea or The Perfect Cheek. I also love Modern Mandarin and Devil, orange is also not that hard to wear as long as you use a light hand.

I meant more beige-brown blushes, like Personal Style or All's Good.
