FIrst let me say your eyes look really nice. You have such delicate coloring and the way you did your eyes honors that and then takes them a couple steps into dramatic. Lovely.
For 40+ years i never liked using eye liner pencils either. I like a tight line and i couldn't get one with most of them. They were either hard and painful, or waxy and patchy, or greasy, smooshy and smudgy, even HE ones i bought in the '90s. I preferred to use cake eyeliner and a very very fine brush from the early 1960s until just a few years ago.
But i really like all the MAC eye liner pencils i've gotten in the past 3 or 4 years. Well, the Pearlglides are smudgy, but they have such wonderful base colors and color-changing sheens i can excuse them.
And now I've used either Orpheus or Raven every day since i picked them up, along with one or two or three ED e/s. Sometimes i add Feminine Edge Fluidline to add shimmer or Local Wares Fluidline for a darker, more defined line. I am very much enjoying my Glamour Daze haul.
