MAC for Marilyn

I guess we are all done with this one? I am surprised how many folks are hitting pan on FM!
I've decided that this might be my favourite ever MAC product, and after buying for 18+ years that's saying something.

I normally do serum, moisturizer/sunscreen, primer, two coats of thin F&B or one coat of MM then powder. Or I could put FM over the moisturizer and call it a day and look more natural, almost as even-toned and glowy. Easy choice. I must find more. I can't run out of this before they launch something similar.

Did you try Too Chic BP? I think similar but not exact?

It is fairly easy to find in CCO or in the Clearance bin. Well, easier than FM! (I think its a bit sparklier though)
It's definitely sparklier. I wouldn't dare to use Too Chic on my whole face - I use it as highlighter. It's a very pretty one, though!

Do you have Elude too? It's a similar miracle powder. :)

No, this is the first BP I've purchased. There are no CCOs in Canada, so tracking ;earlier versions down won't be possible. Wasn't Elude released last year? As long as they keep releasing this kind of product regularly I'll be fine. I love FM, but I can't imagine it being re-released given the name.

I've used Forever Marilyn Beauty Powder today and I actually do really like it.. It seem that with some foundations it doesn't look as good as with others, no idea why. I'm wearing BB cream today and it's just perfect over it.

I like FM better without foundation, actually. It may be because it has surprisingly good coverage on its own.

I've decided since I only have 1 FM in usage in 2 BU's to use it only on special occassions. I can't risk running out and right now, a 4th isn't able to be bought as I just went overboard with GD.

I may try to get a 4th just in case though, and use the 1 regularly and the other 3 for special occassions. I love it, but I can't afford to stock pile them as I have tons of Xmas stuff to buy. :(

Go and use them (maybe keep one as a special occasion BU or for nostalgic). By the time you finish them, there probably will be a new and even better product on the market.

I have so many products that I didn't dare to use when I bought them because I didn't want to run out. Now I don't care for most of them. Or they smell funny. LOL.

Enjoy your B/P! And do it now :)

I have too much to cover lol but it seems to be working great over a bb cream

I also like it over the MAC BB cream or a F&B, the latter one for a nice dewey finish. I use both very sparingly though as I dislike any kind of cakey look.
