No peeping! My parents used to hide our Christmas gifts, but we would always find them. Putting them back the way we found them was often a challenge

Lmao. I'm nearly 22! This is insanity! I hate surprises, last year I had NO idea what I was getting and my Mom had kept telling me all these horrible gifts she'd bought me, I didn't want to open any presents in fear I'd hate it and would have to pretend to love it. I actually nearly cried at one point saying "Don't make me open it" lol. S'ok, I did the same thing to her. I bought her a nice bag, told her it was a cloth bag with the rainbow colours all over it, like Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Coat, she was dreading opening things as well.

I don't know why I worry, she always gets me things I love, but I still freak out, lol.

Since we're confessing the extent of our obsessions/addictions, although we have an alarm system, I make my husband lock the bedroom door when we go out...for added protection of my makeup stash. Mind you, mostly everything else of value is out in plain sight. All replaceable...but not my stash. That's pretty sick.

There's no way that he could ever understand, but you all do!!!

Hahaha, yes! We ALL understand! I love that my bf seems so supportive of my obsession. I'll find out for sure as he's staying the weekend so he'll finally see the stash. See if he's still so supportive once he sees it all.

If so, I'm keeping him for a very long time.

hi girls i had the an awful day today. but i just got home and had like 5 packages waiting for me, makeup definitely helps ohh and today is my birthday sooo yeah

. im going bananas trying everything at once!!!

Which kind of colors do you all pair with Glamourdaze lipstick? It suits me on bare skin.. but becomes odd with other products on my face, I don't know why...I guess I'm not that good at matching colors..

I did it with a grey smokey eye yesterday. (Howzat mostly, with Omega in the crease, and used Creamy Bisque for the brow)

Uhm, anything. I guess because it's pretty MLBB on me. But the pic I posted yesterday wearing it, I'm wearing Amber Lights inner corner, Parrot lid, Club crease, Vanilla highlight. Small Vanity blush, Omega eyebrows.

Just got caught up on all the terrible tales. These stories about people's homes being broken into and purses being stolen just break my heart and get my blood boiling at the same time. I've always been someone who strongly believes that you should treat other people the way you would want to be treated, so that kind of thing happening always boggles my mind. It's like the gas situation here since the hurricane. I've heard several stories about people getting into physical fights at gas stations and at least two instances of someone getting shot...over GAS. I understand that it's important and you need it to get around, get to your job, drive your kids to school, etc...but that kind of reaction is just insane. I think the world needs to learn from all the lovely specktrettes here and support each other. It's the whole Gandhi thing: Be the change you wish to see in the world.


And to MACerette and hwdsprincess, it seems like you are amazing parents to your kids and love them with everything you've got...you set the high standard that other parents should aspire to. So I would just like to say

aww thanks, yes being a young mom i got judged a lot but always proved everyone wrong, being a teen mom (had my daughter at 17) wasn't easy but it sure makes you change the whole way you see life, you now have someone you actually call your own and there's just no way i see my life without them. I have a history of depression and use to think am i even worth being here in this world and now it's like i have every reason to be here and it's to be there for the lifes i gave.

Yes that is true isn't it? I have boy/girl twins that are now 6. I had them at 35 weeks so they spent 10 days in the nicu. You would never know it by looking at them now! I knew a lot of mom's with premies as I was in the twins club.

My daughter was in the nicu for a month and a half, I was there every single day from waking up till i went to sleep, luckily i lived literally across the st so i would just walk there, having to leave her there was the hardest thing i would say i ever had to do. But i def think they're born fighters. High five to our fighting babies

hey i was just thinking of you, did you order the same day i told you? well either way when i checked today they still had it in stock, i got my shipment confirmation the day after i ordered it. Maybe you can call them to check the status i doubt they would cancel it since it's still showing in stock

i really love how pretty stolen moment is, i never even planned on getting it i swatched it the first day it came out then went another time swatched again and it was sold out, and was like omg i need to find this color mac was sold out and luckily i got to order on nordies and it came yesterday i'm so glad i was lucky to get it because that color is just beautiful. And small vanity blush is my new favorite blush!! glad i got to order a backup of that
