I wore RTP, ANF, and SM today. I put ANF on my lids, and it is a really pretty color. I wasn't going to get it. RTP is gorgeous, (puton the outside crease), but it reminds me of the purple in the shop/drop quad, and Stolen Moment is lovely, I put it in my inner crease. My only issue, is I hate when I wear ANY shade of purple how it makes everything I wear look like a purple and pink combo. Right now ANF is showing up pink.

Yes the Paramour Pink set was the best out of all the kits. You know it's love when I keep the Heart to Heart lipstick and Warm Embrace Lipglass with me at all times in my purse.

The Divine Desire blush is just dainty! I shy away from frost blushes in general but it a nice sateen finish to it and works well being cool tone but slightly neutral tone for any look for shin tone.

I agree. And I don't do frost blushes either but this one is so skin enhancing - just beautiful. Glad you love yours. Funny that you keep it with you.

Yes that is true isn't it? I have boy/girl twins that are now 6. I had them at 35 weeks so they spent 10 days in the nicu. You would never know it by looking at them now! I knew a lot of mom's with premies as I was in the twins club.

That is incredibly awful!!! I really feel for you. Hate thieves & liars! Such a violating feeling. I wish by some chance those items could be recovered. My oldest sister just had the same thing happen to her.

People without any morals.

I wish I could get a BU of the lipstick I love it on so much.

I hope my Stolen Moment gets delivered today.

Both are great brushes; 179 is the angled split fiber blending/kabuki & the 167SH is the face blender from Hey Sailor. I just called one of my contacts to see if they had any hanging around, but they don't. Will be on the look out elsewhere for you!

I'm so sorry that happened to you I've heard a story once about a just married couple that had their camera stolen with their wedding pictures on it. They asked in a message on tv or something if the thief could just please return the card with the pictures on it and they actually got them back! Maybe if something really important is stolen you could try something like that?

YOu are tempting me.   I need something to boost my mood this week.  My house was broken into on Monday.  Took my laptop, camera, and 3 Tiffany bracelets.  I finally tried my goodies.  Was trying to wait to take pics of them, but oh well. Just got caught up on all the terrible tales. These stories about people's homes being broken into and purses being stolen just break my heart and get my blood boiling at the same time. I've always been someone who strongly believes that you should treat other people the way you would want to be treated, so that kind of thing happening always boggles my mind. It's like the gas situation here since the hurricane. I've heard several stories about people getting into physical fights at gas stations and at least two instances of someone getting shot...over GAS. I understand that it's important and you need it to get around, get to your job, drive your kids to school, etc...but that kind of reaction is just insane. I think the world needs to learn from all the lovely specktrettes here and support each other. It's the whole Gandhi thing: Be the change you wish to see in the world.


And to MACerette and hwdsprincess, it seems like you are amazing parents to your kids and love them with everything you've got...you set the high standard that other parents should aspire to. So I would just like to say

I was just thinking about the kits for this collection and I think it would have been great if MAC had included a kit with a periwinkle/lavender lipstick, a iridescent lavender lipglass, a lavender blush and a lavender pearlglide intense eyeliner and none of that crap that looks more pink than lavender...while it's also pretty, I want something that is a true lavender. I would have died. I'd also love a baby pink pearlglide.

Prettypackages that's just horrid. I know you can recover your loses financially but having your space violated in that way and your belongings taken is awful. So sorry this happened to you!!

I think being color blind means that you can't see all of the colors in the spectrum. You can still see some of them. I had a friend in art school who was color blind. I think he had trouble seeing the color green or red. Can't remember. He was able to see color value really well and took beautiful black and white photographs.

You're correct. The red vs green issues is most common. They either cannot distinguish between the two, or red and green appear differently than as seen by the non-color blind.

No peeping! My parents used to hide our Christmas gifts, but we would always find them. Putting them back the way we found them was often a challenge
