Thank you, LV2EVOLVE! I have never heard of Bite's Cava Cava before. I will look into this. I do have Quite Cute, I don't have Restrict, but I'm sure in my billions of lipsticks that I have I should be able to find something to mix with it to get this shade. If you can let me know the Inglot # for the dupe, I'd truly appreciate it as well.

Quick swatches, poor lighting and not blended out well. Bite Cava has a brown undertone. You have to have a light hand when using this and mix in Quite Cute to get that dirty gray lavender. You'll have to mix in more lavender to your desired taste, otherwise it can turn more mauve.

i ordered one lippie. everyhting is ok,.i didnt like tthat i ended up paying like $25 for 1 lippie because of the shipping. im going to order chinchilla or colors that are really original. i dont see myself paying $25 for a red or pink lippie from them. im spoiled by free shipping!

It was permanent but I could not find it anymore at maccosmetics.com.
I know that the pigment "French Violet" is d/c and it seems that the Paint Stick is d/c as well.

i want them badly but i think they are permanent, so i can wait, and just get them all at once.
that paint stick looks beautiful. is it permanent??

LOL, on the bottom is the lip combo. On the top is a mixture of a couple of Inglot shades because my dupe is MIA at the moment. But, I'll find it...

Okay, don't quote me on this, but off the top of my head it can be very close to Inglot's 150 l/s, but you'll need to throw in a little Quite Cute in the mix. I know they have an exact dupe.

Tx kimibos! I placed my first order with Lime Crime. I ordered Chinchilla l/s and a new one called Poisonberry. They are more expensive then MAC lippies. I don't think I will order from them again even though they seem to have some really unique colored lippies. I have just read some stuff about them & not sure I want to give them my money.

i agree. it took me a long time to order the serpentina lippie from them, a couple of weeks ago. the owner sounds like a crazy bitch to me.

How do you like the texture on Serpentina? I've had my eye on several LC lippies for ages (Chinchilla and Airbourne Unicorn being two of them) but the negative reviews online put me off from getting any.

i liked the color but its not opache, its patchy. probably because its not a matte or cream. i wouldnt buy it again. i have been using violate from illamasqua more. i didnt return it cause it would have been more expensive.

Have you ever tried Bite's Cava Cava? Just throw in a little lavender. Or, you can mix MAC's Quite Cute with Restrict. Inglot is better about having this hue in their line. I think I might have an exact Inglot dupe in my stash and will get you the number if you like.

I didn't think of that! I have both Restrict and Quite Cute. After the awesomeness of the Outrageously Fun and Summer Shower combo I've been loving lately, I've been all about layering lippies. Thanks for the suggestion! :hug:

well the lipsticks are $15.99 plus the taxes and shipping it ended up costing me $25.99 the shipping was not going to be refunded and then i had to pay to send it back. i just kept it. chinchilla is in my list now. you know gosh makeup artists has their eyeshadow base/primer as his number one. i kind of want to try that one too.

You're welcome : ) I've been going through a lot of lip combos lately to make room for the spring craziness that's coming.
A great drugstore combo I came up with yesterday is Kate Moss 06 l/s with Salma Hayek Pomegranate gloss. It's such
a richly pigmented combo for anyone who wants to bypass some of the spring lippes.

I've been tempted to order from Lime Crime in the past, but after reading a few things about them i decided to pass as well. Sadly i really REALLY love the color of Chinchilla l/s lol

I might go hunting for dupes of it.
