Thanks. I didn't swirl afterward, but considered it. (I saw too many different techniques on Youtube last night.

) I also ordered a BeautyBlender so will try that as well. Stippling shows that my foundation is slightly too light so that's part of the problem. I have a heckuva time finding the perfect match for me. I think I'm going to have to add a colored primer to my foundation, but I honestly can't afford an extra step in my routine.
Good news - It did a better job of covering up hyperpigmentation
Bad news - I look a splotchy mess as the foundation is breaking down on my skin now (despite using MUFE HD Primer, foundation, & powder.) It looks cakey and powdery to me.

Used the Quad colors again today and despite forgetting to prime no creasing, but some fading. These are really nice fall colours.
I've never tried the beauty blender. Please let me know how you like it. I'm always open to trying new things...products & techniques. Anything to make the process faster. I was just thinking about the time when we didn't have so many steps and products, and somehow we still looked put together. Go figure!!

Yeah, I figure I will just live with it until I do my nails over with another shade. I'll get faster as long as do my nails consistently. I love having my nails done. I always feel so grown up and polished (pun intended). Heehee, I was just thinking Malice would be perfect with a certain dress from Anthropologie. It's scheduled to be delivered tomorrow!

I think WOC had a lot less options back in the day so we just had to look fabulous on our own. Black liner and bright lipstick. LOL Maybe that's why so many women wore big gold earrings and necklaces - to help bring some dimension near their face.

Just gorgeous Shadowy Lady!!!!

Elegant - you have the most amazing pictures! You could convince me to buy anything w/o trying it in the store. Thank God Chanel doesn't ship to Canada or I'd be broke :D

UD primer portion (original) works fine for me though my lids are not oily, I could go w/o primer really I just apply it so my e/s would last over 8 hours. I alternate between that and MAC Painterly p/p. I had a sample of Nars primer and I really liked the texture but not sure if I buy it as it's meant for oilier skin.

I'm still undecided about Reverie powder. Those of you guys who bought it, how are you enjoying it? Oh and here's another look with the Chanel holiday quad I thought I share here. I used the taupe shade on lid, cranberry shade in crease, pink shade on inner lid and gold shade to highlight. Excuse my nasty looking brows, my brow appt is tomorrow:

I honesty don't recall exploring the way that I do now. I think I'm more willing to try looks and products. There was a time that I stuck with what seemed like a HG product but the limitation was me....I didn't try new things. Now I'm like explorer on steroids!!!! Can't get enough, can't try enough!

You look pretty !

Rêverie is pretty too, I think it's less glittering as 2011 Féérie, I have both and I'll check that out. Féérie is full of tiny mother-of-a-pearl particles, I am not sure Rêverie contains such particles, it looks different ( more beige and not so rosy ), I am a huge fan of Chanel loose powders so I don't know if my point of view is objective but I'll try.

Which city did you go to? I asked them on FB if the collection was out, and they told me it was. I had a 5 euro off 30 euro purchase coupon that was expiring, and i was hoping to combine it with the 50% off second product sale, but when I went to Amstelveen Sephora they didn't have either Chanel or Guerlain yet. I was so peed off by this (waste of my time) :/ I already bought the Harmonie quad elsewhere, but I'll probably be going back to Sephora this Thursday to pick up Malice and Complice single, and hopefully they'll have Guerlain as well.
I went to Maastricht :) Hmm, that's weird, i've already purchased my Chanel goodies the 1st of november, the SA told me they had gotten the collection in the day before

Didn't know the release dates of collections were that different from Sephora to Sephora. The Guerlain collection started showing up here in Belgium a few days ago, so Sephora will probably have it too now i suppose.

I have not yet used my quad!  Any application recommendations in terms of the colors?  I must be the slowest person on the planet when It comes to using products.  I have a massive amount of NEW things that I haven't gotten around to using.  It's just nuts!    :bump:
I'm in the same boat. There are so many newy bought products that I still haven't used. But that doesn't stop me from buying more. There are just so many fabulous things out right now.

Oops. Sorry! Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base is the only primer I've ever tried and used. I love it. My eye shadow lasts an amazingly long time when I wear it. It's also said to be really good for oily lids. It leaves a faint white cast after applying, but it gets covered with your eye shadow so it doesn't matter. I also like the applicator because it's easy to apply the primer where I want it.
I leaped onto the UDPP bandwagon because it was so widely lauded. It works for me but I will add it to my 'challenge' products to exhaust so that I can try something else. It it didn't work I'd ditch it in a heart beat. Instead I'll later replace, rather than renew/replenish it.

The dress was delivered today! Malice pairs beautifully with it. You were right MissTT, I needed the XS. The cut of the fabric makes it larger. I love it, but it hangs so long on me and drags a little on the floor. I'll need to practice walking in heels to wear it.

So, I wore the Star Dust blush today and it is very shimmery and so pretty! I used it with Mac strada as a contour and it looked good. I am NC20.
On darker skins it will be a pretty pinky highlighter.

The quad is nice, but I am so much in LOVE with my Tom Ford Enchanted quad that I used some of that with it and it made it pop more. Alone the quad is quite soft and not much depth.
The nail polish is pure sexy nails and the lipstick and gloss are so pretty.

The loose powder is nice, the shimmer is larger than previous collections.

The IDO is meh, if I had no sheer gold products I may be more impressed. I used it with a large fluffy brush to buff over the whole eye after shadow and it gave it a glow and some warmth..

Nice collection :)
Neicy - I just posted in the Tom Ford Thread but I bought my first TF products. Enchanted was one of them. I went to an event and they were sold out which meant of course that I had to have it. I picked up the last one at another store. Thanks raving over this quad. It made me look into the line. I've spent the last week or so doing "research" and decided to try somethings. Actually, I went to look at the quads and the SA told me there was an event in a few days. This is the first time an SA actually told me this before I bought something. So nice!

I'll look into pairing some of these colors with the Chanel Harmonie quad.
