I liked it when release dates were the same for everyone, it was simple and easy to remember. I don't know why they changed it and now the US gets (most) collections 2 weeks before any other country.

Lol, I think it's too many for the exact same reason as you: I want half of them already. :p
But 13 offers a good variety of shade, so that's cool.

It also looks like a powder blush to me. Maybe the person on Twitter had it wrong? I guess we'll know soon enough! :)


Btw Persia Single Eyeshadow is nowhere to be seen in the video for the spring collection. Either they didn't show it, or it's part of the summer 2013 collection (which has a single eyeshadow).

I kept looking at the photo of satin lip pencils and now I want to get at least 8 of them (except for burgandy and too nudy lippies like Floralies) based on the pic.
If I really want to get 8 of them, I think I'll be in trouble.lol

Speaking of Persia eyeshadow, the link you posted in the past said it's one of the spring collection items, so maybe they haven't shown yet!
By the way, we haven't seen spring and summer trio eyeshadow so far and I wonder what they're.

You know, I think it's possible they're going to be at least 11 items in both collections (spring and summer) just like in spring and summer 2011 since Nars already showed too many items, esp. for the spring collection.:p But I hope it's not because I need to save some money for satin lip pencils.lol

ok so there's an eyeshadow called Persia in this collection??? If nothing, I MUST get that one; I'm Persian after all :D

I'm so excited about these new satin lip pencils. I hope they're as amazing as the matte velvet pencils, my greatest lipstick loves <3

I can't really tell from the pic, but the description absolutely makes me believe it does. Hollywoodland is nothing but shimmer.

I love the look of that Mad Mad World duo! I don't have any Nars yet. I guess I will swatch some stuff when I'm in london so it's easier to decide what I want and for the spring collection I guess I will have to rely on online swatches.

I'm interessted in the new Powder.
For me the Light Reflecting Setting Powders look similar to the Shiseido ones. The loose and pressed one Colorwise and the loose has the same package.

I read only moments ago that NARS is owned by Shiseido, so I find it interesting that you made that comparison. Shiseido also owns Serge Lutens and Cle de Peau.

Apparently NARS will also launch new products. Thing is, I don't know when, or if the information is correct. I have no reason to believe it's not, given it comes from someone who attended the opening of the Singapore store (absolutely amazing to see, check the source!), and the rest of the information is absolutely correct.


- Light Optimizing Primer Broad Spectrum SPF15
- Gel Eyeliner
- Brow Gel - Eyebrow Pencil/New Brow Pencil (it's the "new brow" that seems new) - Light Transforming Cream Compact Foundation Case
- Light Transforming Cream Compact Foundation Refill

And, I'm just guessing here, a Light Transforming Cream Compact Foundation too? That would make sense.

They don't come out in the spring because we already know what items will be released at that time.lol




How about we will wait until when they come out?
I mean we can also discuss some of them when we talk about seasonal collections just as we do the spring collection, new concealers and satin lip pencils
now at the same time!




Btw, a cream compact foundation like MAC mineralize foundation?
If it is, I'm really excited because I'm waiting for NARS new foundation sooooooo bad!



I think the primer will be released alone (maybe after the summer collection), eyeliner, brow gel and eyebrown pencil will come out together and the cream foundation will hit the counter in the fall or so based on a timeline.

Yep, good idea!
I think we almost find out a full list of next year's items.
April, May and June: Summer collection, new primer, eyeliner and eyebrow items OR maybe nail collection/brozer collection (as always..without nail collections, it's NOT Nars.lol)
Jul, Aug and Sep: Fall collection, cream compact foundation and eyeshadow palettes OR nail collection (as always)
From Oct to Dec: Holiday and gift sets.

Besides, Nars said they have two other collaborations like Andy Warhol in 2013 and 2014, so I guess the 2013 holiday collection is going to be a huge one just like this year.:p

I had this sudden image of a Nars "Dada" collection, but that doesn't really link to a specific artist.

It's incredible how much we know so far, but I'm really looking forward to getting the full, confirmed Spring story, so that we have proper descriptions of all the products.
