MAC Grey Friday Collection Discussion (November 2012)

I think I'm just going to get the metallic silver Portland Black Lipstick Company l/s (I've been meaning to try their lipsticks-- they all look amazing) and then I can layer that with either Black Knight or the PBLC black and it'll be closer to what I imagined Grey Friday being anyways.

provided the roadwork doesn't make it hard on UPS, my tube will be somewhere on my porch or steps today, lol. we shall see.

My lipstick is scheduled to arrive Wednesday, but I hope it gets bumped up to an early delivery tomorrow. It's tracking location is nearby.

Cartoon, you weren't able to pick this lippie up in person when you ventured out on Black Friday? I thought Macy's was gonna have it?

I've checked a few times to see if they re-stocked, but nada. I thought this color was gonna stick around. I don't think the link worked for me until Saturday night.

Nope, Grey Friday is online only. I used the link GlamQueen posted in this thread. Now I wish I had bought extras for those that missed it. I was surprised how quickly it sold out too. But I really do think they'll restock. Black Knight was supposed to be Black Friday only and it wasn't. I'll let you know when I see it restock and/or will just purchase some when I do.

Thanks! Some how I missed that it was online only. I thought it was a Macy's special. The releases have confused me. I tried GlamQueen's link too and still didn't get it to work. Maybe it was my Chrome that night. I struggled to get on Sephora as well. I would have asked for a CP if I was desperate. I was moreso curious.

I missed out on it too, I missed out because I fell asleep early thanksgiving day I think I'm more curious as well as to what it looks like, idk if I could pull it off though it just reminds me of wet cement lol

Thanksgiving night I ordered Grey Friday lipstick and Prep + Prime Vibrancy Eye. My Black Box won't be here until Friday the 30th. It's coming from 2,100 miles away. I am so anxious to get to try it on!

I was lucky enough to get it the first time around on Black Friday. I should be getting it on Wednesday. I had just thought I might pick up another since I ordered the BB powder and got free overnight shipping.
