Finally got to play with the lippys yesterday (they were only released here in Australia this week). Actually got a really nice MUA this time, and she tried DE on me, then Glamourdaze. The MUA was wearing Glamourdaze, and it was really pink on her, almost a raspberry shade, but on me it looked brownish and not very flattering, so I passed. I did get the DE, looked very purpley and vampy on me, will be great in winter (its summer over here) but its not going to be a colour I can just wear without a full face. I'm very pale (NW5 or 10) with dark hair, so with the right blush I can pull it off, but if I'm not careful I'll look like I died 6 months ago Still thinking about going back and getting the rose lipglass set - I really love the purple one, but I've got Estee Lauder's Rebellious Violet lip gloss on the way to me, so I'm trying to convince myself that they are too close to need both. Can anyone who has both, or can compare both, talk me out of it?

Can I join the GD-is-meh club? I loved the idea of it, I loved it in the tube, but on the lips it's just meh. I think it needs a really bold eye look to compensate the meh-ness.

Most of the shadows are still available though there are only two ANF. If there are any other items you want me to check stock on, let me know ASAP. I was thinking of getting Estee Lauder Rebellious Violet gloss and Violet Crush lipstick, but I haven't found any testers to see them in person. I wonder if they're similar to Illamasqua Boost Intense Lipgloss and Underground lipstick, which i recently got.

Anyone know?

Is it just me or is it a pain in the rear to get Ready to Party to show up? I tried to do a look today with RTP in the inner half of the lid, DB on the outer half, and TG&H in the crease (plus a wee bit of TG&H along the outer half of the lower lashline). TD&H was great, DB more or less behaved itself (I've seen better), but RTP took a gazillion layers to show up. The end result was worth it though

I think my UDPP was still too wet when I put on RTP. I'm going to wait a bit longer next time.

Beauty, on the other hand, is a very aptly named lipstick

Well I think I might be a NC10 (NC15 is a bit too dark for my liking) and I like Beauty a lot. Yes, it is cool toned and very pale, but the glaze finish keeps it from looking like whitewash. It depends on whether or not you like ghostlike lips, really. I'm well aware that brighter colours are more flattering on me, but it doesn't stop me wearing the pale stuff. The same goes for red eyeshadow. I know it makes me look like I've risen from a toxic swamp but I wear it nevertheless

If you wear a lot of cool-toned smoky eyes I think Beauty would complement the look very nicely.

I'm NC15 and i'm totally in love with Beauty lipstick

I originally decided against it for the exact same reason, but when i tried it on in the store i just had to have it. Maybe you can test it first in the store to be sure?

I have not worn my Beauty yet......have not found the right combination (I am nc15 too). But I loved the feel of the glaze, such a fab finish. So it will stay with me. I will probably blend it with one of the Lavish Rose glosses or perk up a bit with Inez. I don't think I can wear it as it is. Depending on the liner I use, that might change it too. Meanwhile, Glamourdaze went back. It did nothing for me and did not feel as nice.

I cannot wear red plum eyeshadows. I do look like I have a bruise, or did not sleep well. That is why although I liked Stylishly Merry on my list, I ended up leaving it behind.

I have buyer's remorse about Stolen Moment. But I am also wondering if it is worth trying to get (if it is even anywhere after yesterday's cyber monday massacre) Tall Dark & Handsome. I do have black shadows in other sets, so maybe not important.

Beauty, on the other hand, is a very aptly named lipstick

RTP is definitely a pain even though it's so gorgeous. I've used it on the inner corners of my eyes and it shows up brilliantly there. I've also layered it over NYX chubby pencil in Oyster which was gorgeous but a lot more purple than RTP actually is.

I loooove Divine Blue. I wore it just packed on the lid with winged black liner and Beauty on my lips. Felt very 60s but I still loved it.

I'm still tempted to get TDH. I think I probably will in the upcoming weeks because I know I'll use it often.
