I am falling in love with Glamour Daze lipstick today (again). It is the perfect MLBB right now with my pale winter complexion and recently brunette hair. Esp. after it wears a bit, it just looks like my lips are flushed. I am going to have to hunt a BU.
I noticed that too when I wore GD yesterday

You seem to have terrible luck lately with your shipping.
Actually, now that you've got me thinking about it, my GD order from when it first released online was shipped faster than I expected! I chose my usual standard shipping, and I think I got my package just four days after I placed the order! Strange how it seems that I'll get my package in the same amount of time when I chose overnight shipping.

My Feminine Edge, Ready to Party and Divine Blue are still in their packages --- shameful.
You're not alone... I think I have two of the fluidlines, 1 or 2 EDES, and Superb EDSF untouched. I tried Whisper of Gilt on my daughter and not myself over the weekend.

Not really sure where to post my gripe about this, but since people are still in the process of having holiday stuff delivered to them, I figure here is as good a place as any. I used the free overnight shipping code to place an order on Monday afternoon. I figured I might get my package Tuesday, but definitely Wednesday. Nope, just kidding. It didn't even get shipped until Wednesday. So okay, I thought, I should get it today. Got home from work...no package at my door. Checked the tracking online and it said it was on the truck for delivery today. It's already 9 PM at this point. So an hour later, I check the tracking again and you know what it says? EXCEPTION: The package was missed at the UPS facility. UPS will deliver on the next business day. Excuse me??? I have never had this happen in my life! This was my first time using overnight shipping, so I'm gonna have to give MAC and/or UPS a big thumbs down on this one. Epic fail!!!

I didn't find any in stock online, but maybe try your nearest Macy's and see if they can do a store search for you. Belk and Dillard's also may have store stock since those stores are a bit less popular. Good luck.

Well........after I read through these posts and saw the above suggestion, I went to Belk.com I caved (and prayed that my credit card would go through) and bought Stolen Moment and Tall, Dark & Handsome......

I really hope that I like and can use them and don't regret getting all caught up in the EDES shadows (yes, p*ssed about the small size too)

meanwhile, this morning, while using Nebula pigment, from the Daphne Guiness Collection......it went flying off the counter. Literally half of the bottle, plus, is gone allover the floor, the ivory grout, the travertine bathroom floor tile.........this looks like dark brown in the pigment jar........it is a soft black........the more you try to clean, the blacker the pigment comes out ALL OVER the spill area..........gaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh That kind of accident is why I have over 200 Bare Minerals/Escentuals shadows lying untouched.

I could not get all that dark pigment out of the grout and tiles.......

I love the NYX liners but the MAC prolongwear ones really impressed me too.
I LOVE my prolong wear pencil in Absolutely It!! it is fabulous!! I also like the Urban Decay 24/7 lip liners. Paranoid and Envious are very similar to Absolutely It. Wicked is a bit pinker and looks great with Beauty, Venus, etc. pink based lipsticks

That kind of accident is why I like to decant a small amount of pigment into a sample jar for daily use. Of course, there is always a chance of spill during the transfer, but I will do that when I am NOT in a rush. I am sorry that happened to you!

I've accidentally broken a bunch of makeup, I feel your pain. Everything from my Inglot shadows, La Femme blushes and 3 MAC Pro Longwear Concealers.

Speaking of (near) makeup catastrophes... I was getting ready this morning and my HC MSF Earthshine went flying out of my hand!! I was scared to look where it slammed into the ground! BUT... luckily all that broke was the hinge of the compact! Product was intact! LE products really can cause you stress when they get away from you like that! The mess PLUS the added worry of not being able to track another down! The number 1 reason why I believe in BU's now... I always backup a LE product that I love JUST IN CASE! Your tile on the other hand... now THAT'S another story! UGH! Good Luck ladies...

I have a limited number of lip liners, and Pro Longwear Absolutely It is one of them. I really like its shimmer. I've even worn it all over my lips by itself. And once i went out with Absolutely It ("soft burgundy with rose shimmer") around my lips, Just Wonderful lip pencil ("dirty mauve") on most of the rest of my lips, and Whirl lip pencil ("dirty rose") in the center of my lips. (I do have Nightmoth and i love it, too)

With UD i haven't found a lip liner color that i like... well, other than Ozone, which is colorless, so it helps stop lip color wandering.

i once dropped a bottle of rocker nail polish on an off white stone tile bathroom floor....in an apartment i was renting from my professor! i ended up having to use a lot of nail polish remover and a toothbrush to get it out of the grout! i was so sad...especially now it's discontinued too.

good luck with the clean up....sounds like a nightmare!

i was wondering whether anyone who got the green set of pigments had come up with some interesting combos? i bought it at the weekend. so far i've worn a few different looks
-- the lightest shade all over, with the spruce shade in the outer corner and minted and surf usa shadow to line top and bottom.
-- the lightest shade just on lid, club dupe in the outer corner and piney shade on the outer v.

did anyone else find these a bit more difficult than regular pigments? i find them kinda chunky, and ended up smooshing them around with my fingertips. i also found my eyes more sensitive to them -- the mua had suggested that she likes to use regular shadows around the lashline when she uses these pigments, due to the larger particle size...

I'm so sorry to hear about that. I've fortunately broken makeup only a couple times in all my years, although i do have a few cracked cases, crazed mirrors (in compacts), and broken hinges. Probably because i rarely put makeup on in the bathroom.

But pigment, what a mess! and that blackened stuff... you have my sympathy.

That's the worse...I feel your pain. I once did the sane thing w/ MAC's Chocolate Brown pigment.

NYX Never is on my list. I love Glamourdaze, so I can't wait to see what it looks like paired with Never.
I picked up NYX Never. It's gorgeous with Glamourdaze.
love.gif

Never is very similar to MAC Plum, which is already my favorite liner to pair with Glamourdaze. Now I can use both pencils interchangeably.

EDIT: Trying on Glamourdaze with Never reminded me just how much I love this lipstick. So much so that I think I need another BU. I've been feeling the need to cut back on BUs in general now that my lipstick stash has grown so much, but I Glamourdaze needs more BUs.
