I just placed an order for all three Mattenes!

I caved to the hype and got two seductive intent. I'm so weak! I'm hoping it pulls a little more pink on me, or at least different enough from Violetta. I do love Night Blooming though! I was hoping to get a Pink Pigeon-esque shade but it's a very vibrant magenta on me. Nocturnal Insticts does not agree with me when applied full strength, but I then tried it as a stain with Oyster Girl lipglass and it was soo pretty! Not enough to warrant a BU though!

I couldn't decide if I need Perky and Revenge is Sweet, but I finally caved in. Perky just looks so pretty from the swatches I've seen! And while I already have RIS from VV, I like it enough to get a BU.

I think that Passionately Tempted blush would be lovely on you

And if you like pink ls, get Night Blooming, its really really pretty on.

All this talk of the mattenes makes me wish I didn't have to wait till payday. Bad timing with MAC and christmas shopping. I hope I can snag seductive intent when it hits stores.

Got both Unconventional blush & NI ls today. LOVE NI ls on my lips. Its such a beautiful greyed mauve lilac. Unconventional is a very very pale pink kissed lavender. VERY pale. Its really different & pretty, but I can see where on some it may be too pale.

I'm not surprised that you love NI, its the first product I have loved in years that made me buy a backup.

i'm interested to see how it looks on people's lips! i bought this colour too, and it turns out pale, but has sufficient colour to actually just look like a mauvey nude on me...

from my experience when something is sold out from macys they just wont list the color anymore. so im thinking they will put it up in a bit.

well shucky darn. I went to Belk and got all excited b/c they have TT up, but it lists all the shades of SHeen Supreme under the mattenes and none of the right ones from this collection. Someone over there may be is smoking something

RIS is beautiful in the tube, but on my lips it's just a sheer pinkish red. Such a disappointment.

Perky is great. I can wear it alone, and it's a very good color (and shimmer) for layering for those who can't wear it by itself.

That's an interesting dilemma. I've always had dry, peeling lips even before I started wearing makeup, so I'm no help. Maybe you can compare ingredient lists to pinpoint if there's something that's causing your lips to peel.

That is a good idea! It's taken me years to figure out that Mac was the culprit. But I want more lippies!!!! I wore one of my faves today, viva glam II, after wearing chanel Burberry and jack black for at least a week. Some dryness but no peeling. After about 2-3 hours guess who's lips were shedding like snake skin !!??? Yuck. I really want pink pigeon and SI and NB and......

I'm bummed. I want Seductive Intent but it's all gone online from what I can tell. If I can't get one in store on friday when I get paid then if anyone has an extra that would be awesome. I hate being broke when collections launch lol.

Oh, I've been looking at swatches for the new Loreal caresse lippies and violet chiffon looks like it could be similar but I'm not sure. I know it's not MAC of course and I'd likely get both lol to make the mattene last longer b/c when I see an interesting color I really like I wanna hoard lol.

I don't know about that color but I will say I adore the texure of the caresse lipsticks.

I was thinking of getting both Seductive Intent and Night Blooming at my MAC store but afraid that they might not have it in stock by the time I get there if I go to the mall tonight.
