My heart started beating faster when I saw this:

Blush G Sakura. O.M.G.
th_drool.gif
But apparently it's Asia exclusive. Womp womp.
I missed out on the original Blush G, so would've loved to get this one. What a beauty.

This is gorgeous! I missed Blush G original too. Since this Sakura has a white packaging, I'm guessing it is from the whitening range? Usually brands release a whitening range early in the year in Asia, right after the spring collection.

I guess it's time to stalk eBay for this then. It is really pretty and I hope I manage to get my hands on it. I hate Asia exclusives, they are always so lovely.

In the meantime something equally pretty and accessible for all: http://getlippie.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/guerlain-ss13-meteorites-perles-du.html I can't wait to get my hands on the new Meteorites! I have to say though I'm a bit disappointed they've gone back to the cardboard packaging, but the container is still very pretty and the pearls... oh those pearls!

Is it January yet???

The meteorites are to die for.....OMG

I have not seen such beautiful ballz for a long time

Does anyone remember the meteorites Red Pastel???They look a bit similar to these. And that is really great
because the Red Pastels are my favorite ballz ever and I always wanted Guerlain to release something similar.
I think that the Paradis ballz might be a bit more pastel and lighter but still close!

I don't think they're anything like the Red Pastels one, those are more red, whereas these are pink and purple and lighter. I don't need a dupe for Red Pastels as they last forever, so it's nice to have something different. :)

Yes,you are right

I just swatched them again and they are really more red and intense than the Paradis ballz look in the
swatches.
The Red Pastels are definitely a red blush for me!

Wow. Under normal circumstances, I'd be all feverish and excited about Flirt, which looks like an amazing colour, but now I'm just feeling kind of bummed about the Sakura blush. The original Blush G remains one of my all-time favourites. I absolutely love the glow it gives me and how I can play with the shades to make it either more coral or pink. I'll have to content myself with the lipsticks. And the shadow palettes. And the ballz.

Review of the new mascara: http://getlippie.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/guerlain-ss13-maxi-lash-mascara.html

Looks interesting, might give it a try.

Hmmmn Not sure about this collection now that I see swatches. Im huge fan of Guerlain quads, and green shadows as well. But Im not happy that the green quad does not have a light shade, not sure would I wear such dark colors and I dont like to be adding another shadows. We will see once it hits counters. The purple palette is beautiful but out of the question for me as I recently colored my hair warm red. Dont need sparkly Meteorites. I think I will keep my eyes open for other brands this spring.

I agree. I like a light shade in there and an all in one palette.

The purple is really pretty and recently I read an article that purple eye shadows are a great choice of mature women. I'm 50 but not sure how mature I am:) A sales lady at Sephora convinced me to buy a Dior palette in #970, Stylish Move which is plum. It has beautiful colors but I'm not sure they look very good on me. I just tried them today and I kind of looked bruised. Perhaps I need to play with it more. I haven't used their e/s in years. They have greatly improved. This is the one I bought.

I do love purples but still trying to nail down which tones of purple. I'm very fair. Some MAC artists have said NC15, others NW15 and a few more honest ones that tell me we have nothing light enough. Any ideas?

No sparkly ballz for me either. On that note, sorry I know this was talked about earlier in this thread somewhere. Is the Dragon ballz more sparkly than the Pucci ones or less?

"At last! I have collected all seven dragon balls and I'll be able to make a wish to the all mighty eternal dragon Shenlong so that he can grant my wish for..." Ahem...

After much thought about the holiday collection and being introduced to the brand a few weeks ago, I went back to the Guerlain counter at JC Penney and bought my first meteorite perles, the dragon ballz/perles du dragon!
girlhaha.gif
I love everything about it. For now, I'll use it for special occasions since I don't consider it as an everyday product. I got the Altoum and Lou-Ling lipsticks. I don't know what went through my mind when I bought Altoum because I dismissed Ruffian Gold gold thinking that it was something unnecessary and for being a frost lipstick, but ended up buying Altoum because I actually liked it and the formula didn't dry my lips. I almost skipped Lou-Ling because it looked too plum when I picked up the tester, but it turns dark pink on my lips. It's really beautiful and I didn't expect it to have a lot of the shimmer like Altoum.

I'm still on the fence with the Wulong powder compact. I really liked the product but that price is still headache inducing unless the Guerlain counters at JC Penney and/or Sears put it on some sort of discount. I don't think anyone has bought the compact since both counters are usually deserted unless if people are asking about the perfumes and the counters that are constantly full of people are Clinique, Elizabeth Arden, Estee Lauder, Chanel, and Shiseido.
Oh yes that Wulong palette. I am still dreaming about it. I'm afraid to go look at it but I know I will soon. I don't think I've ever heard of Guerlain products going on sale or having a discount. Maybe I'm out of the loop on that. But that would be great.

Hi,
I have Guerlain spring on the way to me. I got the ballz, quads and another bu of Wulong. I will wait to see the mascara and the lips in person. So far I think I only like 2 lip colors.

I will post when I get it all! Excited !!

^^^Please let us know about the quality of the quads. I absolutely love the Turnadot quad and hope that the new quads are of the same quality. I actually bu the Turnadot quad which was a first for me. I have never bu an eyeshadow quad before. I can see hitting pan on this one, however, very quickly.

I have found that Sephora often doesn't get the hottest items from the Guerlain collections. Sometimes late, sometimes not at all.

Does Asian exclusive for Guerlain mean what it usually does for Chanel -- that it can be purchased in Australia as well?

Here are swatches (and a review) of the Rouge Automatique Shines:

And the regular Rouge Automatiques:

Flirt is definitely mine. And I know I'm going to have to come home with at least one of the pinks...

Oh, and for those who haven't tired of the holiday collection, I FINALLY got my review up with swatches and all (link is in my signature). I seriously can't imagine how they are going to top Liu. It's an amazing collection.
