That's a lot of photoshoping. Absolute power does not look like that, at all!

It does look like that in the tube, but it looks very different from the tube than when you apply it (a handswatch didn't look like it looked on my lips, either).

It's lighter than Runaway Red by quite a bit - it's more of a cherry red than a ruby red. I think it's the final member of my Perfect Red Triumverate (with Runaway Red and Scarlet Ibis), but some folks might find it too blue-ish, possibly, or maybe too bright, if your skin is darker toned.

Is this collection coming out soon or in the spring I'm confused because on the promos it says spring 2013?

Spring collections come out now so that you can have the items when the spring gets here.

I'm still undecided about Absolute Power lipstick. I have Heartless, Deeply Adored, Charmed I'm Sure, Runaway Red, Ruffian Red, Red Racer...plus Russian Red and Ruby Woo from the perm line....how many MAC reds do I neeeeed? lol

Leaning towards both quads as a definite, up in the air bout everything else

I agree with you about Absolute Power. I have so many red lippies and I don't wear them nearly enough. I was actually able to do a hand swatch of the l/s from this collection and AP didn't wow me. But that's probably because I'm more in love with deep reds than bright ones.

Probably just Strong Woman from this collection for me.

Well they did that with Taste temptations it had a different launch date online and it was up super early. i hope so. i cannot take the pressure anymore ;(

Seductive Intent is brighter and more "fun" than Strong Woman, which is a sort of serious "adult" color. I think my personal favorites go: Seductive Intent > Heroine > Strong Woman, if I had to rank them, but I like them all a lot….I just don't think I'll be backing any of them up (didn't get a BU of Heroine either, and am OK with that).

My favorite MAC purple is still Go For It, and I've got precious BUs of that one!!

Actually Strong Woman is a bit bluer than that photo. It isn't at all violet, it isn't even over-the-edge purple, but it is purple. And that photo make it look more like deep rose. Seductive Intent from Taste Temptation, which is close to Heroine from Reel Sexy and to Violetta, is a brighter and bluer purple than Strong Woman.

I was going to get all the lipsticks but I think I'm gonna pass on strong woman because I have heroine and need to save $ lol now if I can convince myself I don't need absolute power :/
