Fireside is a warm plum mixed with a pale blue/green/grey. When I applied it to my eyes, it looked like a really soft, lovely version of Blue Brown pigment - it looked very duochrome too. I have some darker skin around my lids, so if your lids are pale or you're using base, it'll look more plum. Winter Pursuit actually looked very similar on the eyelid for me, just a bit warmer and a bit more orange, and less duochrome. My MA preferred it to Fireside, but I was kind of torn - I really liked them both, but they were definitely more similar on than in the pan on me.

Don't even worry about how Silver Birch looks in the pan - it is drop dead gorgeous when applied, wet or dry!!!!!!!!!!!! If I had to pick only 2 for myself, it'd be Silver Birch and Frost at Midnight, hands down.

MAC can be such a tease sometimes. I log on to check if anything new has come up and voila! something new was there but it wasn't what we're looking for in this thread lol. I hate when you're waiting for a new collection to come up and they randomly add things other than what it is you want.

I keep getting confused as to whether this is coming out in all stores or not -___- But I've cut my list down:
- Stereo Rose MSF (depends on the "scaly" factor)
- Hot Chocolate l/s (depends on how it looks on my lips, but it sounds the most interesting)
- Apres Chic l/s (seems similar to Fire Sign, which I don't wear enough as it is)

They're all tentative maybes, and with the massive lipstick hoarding I've allotted for Strength, it wouldn't hurt my wallet to just skip this collection entirely. I mean, as long as the PLW e/l are permanent... otherwise we're going to have some problems lol

I feel like I'm on a continuous spin cycle in the MAC hype machine -- if it were anything but the mass-hysteria-inducing Stereo Rose, I wouldn't even give a blush that frosty the time of day. In that vein (lol), I really should not get it, but... maybe I should just get it and return if I don't love it? Impracticality wants to trump reason >.>; But to answer your question, it really does, thank you so much for the pictures. ^__^

I watch your YouTube videos by the way, love them! :D

Haha, I completely agree with you. Everything looks sooo much better than it really is once it's been hyped up. I never wear bright pinks like MAC Candy Yum Yum and Pink Pigeon yet I still own them! I personally like the glow of Stereo Rose than the shimmer of Petticoat. It doesn't hurt to buy it and maybe you can try it as a highlighter or layer lightly on top of other blushes?

Aww thank you! I hardly make videos anymore although I should. I always psych myself out - what if I sound too corny? too boring? etc. Good thing finals are over because now I can finally relax and stalk the MAC website haha.

I already decided to take both MSFs, 2 MBs "Except the lightest"

but I can't decide which MESs & L/S should I get! I want 2 eyeshadows & 1 or maybe 2 lippies..

Heartily seconding this! Despite my tiny list, I feel like the things I want from AC are way more contingent on how they swatch. It seems like a lot of these are going to look different based on your skin-tone/undertone -- which I know is usually the case, it just seems to be more prevalent here. I'm really apprehensive to order for this one online.

I am needing more MES swatches! I still can't decide what to buy. It will probably be a spur of the moment purchase when it launches....just like every time ><

The good news is that things don't sell out too fast if there are just a few swatches...
