MAC Strength Collection Discussion (December 2012)

I was able to preorder Strong Woman and Absolute Power Lipsticks from this collection!! I will be stalking the website for you guys whenever MAC puts it up.

strong woman reminds me of red dwarf. am i the only one that bought that color? LOL
i didn't get that colour but i'm pretty sure you are not alone, because it was pretty!

from memory and online swatches i think strong woman is more purple...a red purple, but def purple. i'll try to take a pic later this aft....

Red Dwarf is more of a berry pink. I don't see any similarity to Strong Woman.

The only thing similar to strong woman is heroine. And as shown in some of the pics, there's a slight difference. Nothing else MAC-wise comes even remotely close to it.

I just got back from the Pro store too. I don't have Heroine so I picked up Strong Woman. I also picked up Pink Pigeon and Absolute Power. From Apres Chic I picked up Stereo Rose and Hot chocolate. Hot chocolate is beautiful. The mineralized eyeshadows were gorgeous but I have seen colors like them before. The pressed pigments collection was beautiful too but they were hard to work with when I was in the store.

The lip balms do suck. They look beautiful in the tube but swatched horrible.

Nudibelle- I didn't pay much attention to the liners, but that black pro liner is very nice, very smooth

Hot chocolate looks like the color I've been wanting!! yes!! now of only I can get my hands on it from this collection I need to pick up Absolute Power when I go pick up my preorder of SW, PiPi and PaPa

I loved Strong Woman but I really had to think- " did I really need another purple lippie?" I'm Team Purple all the way but I have 2 Heroines and a Seductive Intent, and I plan on buying this purple lipstick from MUFE, I needed to be smart, decided not to get it. Since SI looks just like Heroine on me too, it would be a waste of money. I picked up Party Parrot though- so prettttyyyy

Elegant one! How are you? It's been way too long since I've been on here and I miss the familiar people from when I posted regularly. It's Manishewitz wine in the bottle, lol. I drank the whole thing last Rosh Hashana. Very very sweet wine. I was waiting online too but I got impatient and just went to Pro.
