Aghhhh, drives me crazzzzy! How can you work for a company like MAC or Chanel etc. & NEVER know what the new products/collections are

I'm gonna call my local MAC tomorrow and see if "my" MUA is in 'cuz i want to add:

-- Frost at Midnight MES (deep blue-grey with purple veining)
-- Fireside MES (deep plum with grey veining)
-- Silver Birch MES (grey with peach veining)
I didn't pre-order ANY MES 'cuz couldn't make up my mind - but i have now!
and
-- Porcelain Pink MSF - Stereo Rose just isn't for me, but the more i think about it, the more i know PP is...

I only pre-ordered Hot Chocolate lipstick and Nice & Simple Mineralize balm from Apres Chic (!!) And from Strength i only pre-ordered Firm Form lipstick and Taupe Shape blush for myself, so i've got a little wriggle wiggle room to add a thing or two...

My list for this collection (this minute LOL):

HA & HC ls
Nice & Simple - this is a big maybe; I want to try the formula
Silver Burch, Fireside, Frost at Midnight, & Winter Pursuit
Amber Glow
287 brush

I also plan to get the liners but will wait b/c they are perm. Skipping both MSFs for now b/c I already have them + BU. This decision may change however once the collection goes live.

I will be ordering the purple & red ls from strength as well.

If anyone is in the Los Angeles arena, I called all the stores and counters. They are not preselling for strength or après chic, but my MUA called me today at the pro store in Los Angeles and said she will hold them for me on thurs, ask for Vanessa and she will hold the items you want. The girls' are so friendly there! :)

Just the brush for me! I was gonna try the teal liner, but may wait on it til i order the brow gel liners. I may even pass altogether, as i ALWAYS smudge my pencil liners, and these really aren't smudgable.

AC definitely will be one of those different on everybody colors, but it's very flattering. It read quite warm on me, but still soft. The photo captures it quite well, considering it'd be a toughie to photograph. Same for Absolute Power - she captured it quite well.

The only thing, and I think it's the phone, it makes all the lipsticks look like they have similar textures, while Haute Altitude, Cozy Up and Absolute Power look very much more matte. HC is much matte-er too. Warm Companion has this amazing glimmering sheen to it, that I'm doubtful any phone, or even decent camera, is going to be able to capture.

GIRLS PLEASE JUST GO TO A STORE AND TEST STUFF OUT. PLEASE. I think that's going to be the only way to know which ones are the most perfect for you (although Haute Altitude will be pretty much a no-brainer for most people). I'd be sad to see people buy things then decide they don't look right and return them…..these are MLBB colors and unless you happen to have just the right coloring, not all of them are going to look equally good. I lucked out and this collection is really tuned to my coloring, but I think back to Naturally and not a single one of the lipsticks from that collection looked good on me at all. They all looked like unicorn poop on me - I skipped them all.

Liba -- every time I think I can knock something off my list you convince me I need it. I'm not sure if I should thank you or curse you.

Weird. I searched for Hot Chocolate. No love. But looking in at the LE lipsticks, and there it is...

Go under the specific product. So mineralize eyeshadow and that's where you'll find it. Or mineralize face, etc.

I placed my order! Winter Pursuit, Silver Birch, and Stereo Rose (I bought into the hype - lol).
