I'm NC50 and Stereo Rose is beautiful with my skin tone. Porcelain Pink just looked ashy on me.

Yay! Finished ordering :)
On the Canada site we usually have some time to re-think our final orders without too much risk of selling out (Usually!!) :p

I ended up with :
Silver Birch
Frost at Midnight
Fireside (after lots of back and forth between it and Winter Pursuit)
All Woman quad (I hope it's good quality!) + Taupe Shape from Strength.

I'll probably go back for Inner Strength quad if any good swatches/reviews start popping up. Same goes for Winter Pursuit/Ice. Oh and I passed on the Brow Fluidline...for now! Need to hear some more opinions/see more pics.

Can't wait to get my goodies!! :)) I even remembered to get the free gift wrapping this time lol.

Got home from work not long ago and immediately hopped onto MAC's website to discover the new collections are up! I raced to place my order, so hopefully I wasn't too late to the game. I think I got everything though, unless they send me one of those out of stock emails. From this collection, the damage was:

Winter Pursuit MES
Silver Birch MES
Pure & Tender lip balm
Mountain Air e/l
and a late addition to my must-haves list... Hot Chocolate l/s!

I think I did a pretty good job keeping it under control, though admittedly I also threw in a b/u of Easy Manner blush from the GD collection. Had to take advantage of that restock somehow, and that blush paired with WoG looks like a sunset on my cheeks!
Happy hauling, everybody!!! While the little ones in our families will be playing with their new toys this week, we'll be playing with ours!

MES: Silver Birch, Winter Pursuit

Lipsticks: Apres Chic for sure, Cozy Up too, if you only wished Salute was a little darker and less pastel, maybe Hot Chocolate, Warm Companion if you like light lip colors.

Balm: Nice & Simple, Slightly Nude

MB: The verdict's out, Alpine Bronze may not show up too distinctly, but it's a great texture that ought to smooth out the skin tone.

PLL: Night Trail - it'll look more purplish on you! The teal one will look great with Winter Pursuit.

I'm not a fan of the MSFs in this collection, but if you just have to have it, Stereo Rose.

I resisted too. SR is just too metal and it looked far too orange on NW15. We will see when I pick up my pre-order if it comes home with me.

I skipped both blushes. AP was way too orange (in a very unflattering way) and AG was kind of chalky. Keep in mind that I'm NW15 - 20, so it might look different on NC complexions.

I'm NC15 and loved it, but it depends on what you're looking for. It's pretty light, but not really highlighter-light. On me it was more of a skin-tone evener that added some radiance. Didn't find it powdery or chalky. I used a standard 129 to apply it. Can you try it in person? That's your best bet.

I ordered Apres Chic, Hot Chocolate, and Stereo Rose from this collection. I like the one lip swatch that I've seen of Apres Chic...but now I'm wondering if it's going to be similar to my Cyndi lipstick? Or maybe even Hibiscus? What do ya'll think?
Also, Hot Chocolate (at least from the instagram lip swatch) looks like a greyed brown? Do you think it will be too grey for my really yell--toned dark skin (I'm kinda a NC50 in MAC...but with way more yellow in my skin).
