MAC Strength Collection Discussion (December 2012)

I'm sad my order hasn't shipped yet but it's close to xmas and I haven't gotten a backorder notice so I'm not worried. ::squeeee: I'm so excited to get everything. Here's hoping everyone can get there hands on PiPi soon!

Oh, I also asked about Pink Pigeon again when I called. I was told again that the collection hasn't officially launched for regular customers yet. That it was meant to release only on PRO tonight. It's supposed to be available on the regular MAC website after 8am EST. I'm going to call it a night and get up early. I'm hopeful that the "sold out" items will be back in stock!

Interesting. It did launch for everyone, not just pro. I've noticed with the last several collections, it hasn't gone up on pro prior to the general site. Think it's another Mac glitch?

More than likely, especially with the way Pink Pigeon kept popping out of carts while checking out. That kept happening to me.

I was in Vegas and missed the online launch. The Pro store inside Caesar's Palace had everything except Firm Form. I want to get everything in one visit so the kind SA at Nordstrom placed a hold for me for pick-up on the 26th. I hope everyone got what they wanted!

My order just shipped yayy But I have a question, this is my first time ordering online so idk how it works. Since tomorrow everything is closed im guessin my order will arrive after the 26th, but I will be gone until the 30th. So how long does Mac usually take on standard shipping? And is my package left on the mailbox or by the door if nobodys home? Im so afraid of something going wrong ( irrational, i know.. But i cant be the only one! )

Well, 2 problems solved--

Tracked down 2 Pink Pigeons from a Pro store and they are mailing them to me. Figured that would be my favorite color from this line, because I am crazy about CYY, so I didn't want to get stuck without a BU.

And now I just got my shipping notice from MAC online for Party Parrot, Strong Woman, and Absolute Power.

Assuming everything actually shows up, I'm done with this collection now.

Yay for your order having shipped!!! Standard shipping is a little different for everyone. For me, it usually takes 4-5 days from the day I place my order to get my package. For others, I've heard of it taking a week or two. So I think it depends on where you are and if you ordered at a time when a bazillion other people placed orders as well. Packages are delivered by UPS so yes, it will be left at your front door, unless you've instructed UPS to not leave packages. If you've done that, they'll try to deliver the package up to two more times, and if you're not home after they've tried delivering it three times, you'll have to go down to your local UPS and pick it up in person. Again, that's only if you've told them not to leave packages at your door though!

It really depends where you live--it takes 5-6 days to California, but when I was on the East Coast it was only 2-3 days.

I live in Ft Lauderdale! So South FL. Ill make sure to call UPS and tell them not to leave it at the door just in case.. i dont want anybody snatching my pretty little black box . Thanks for your replies guys

I got one, but I only have 2 reds ruffian and ruby woo which I adore but hate the old formula. Liba comment on it sold me because I love scarlet ibis so does she. I can always return or swap it.
