MAC Après Chic Collection Discussion (December 2012)

well all I ordered was a mineralize balm pure & tender. I may get another if I like the formula. But nothing else. The blushes are too sheer for my tone and I already have gentle. Also, the only lip color I thought about getting, cozy up, was just ok. so I skipped. I don't usually buy quads mes's either....

I just got back with my haul! I was the only one at the counter, which isn't really surprising at 7 AM. XD I haven't played with anything yet and probably won't until later. I had 2 hours of sleep, so I'm going back to bed. I did notice that my Stereo Rose has a bunch of gold veining that looks really pretty. (The display had a Dainty as the tester instead of Gentle, which threw me, but I made sure to get Gentle.)

I got Haute Altitude, Hot Chocolate, Apres Chic lipsticks from this collection phewww it was hard for me to
limit myself from buying everything from this and Strength collection. I usually wear bright crazy colors but when I saw
the lippies in person I had a change of heart, they're so pretty and not like anything I have. The names help too :] I suppose

I think the items I'm curious about are Hot Chocolate lipstickand Haute Altitude. I need to see swatches on roughly NC15 though to gauge whether they'll look okay or not.

I'm glad you pointed out that Archie's Girls will have Ronnie Red. I think I'll just wait for that one as well (and see if it's something I can wear)... unless I see more swatches (full face photos) of Apres Chic that scream must have for me.

Now, Cozy Up... hmmm... I'm still looking for the perfect nude.

Oooh, would you mind posting a lip swatch? I would love to see how this looks on a deeper skin tone. I don't know when mine will be here- I ordered on Tuesday night, but I haven't yet received my shipping confirmation.
