I meant to make it to the MAC store when they opened this morning but it was 20 degrees (in Central Texas, we are not prepared for these temperatures haha) so I slept in. I made it to the store at 2 and was able to get Pink Pigeon, Absolute Power, and Taupe Shape. I ordered Strong Woman online. So excited to finally have my hands on Pink Pigeon!!!

Ugh this collection is so annoying! Luckily there's a mac store an hour away from where I'm vacationing and I was able to purchase the blushes from there. I'll go pick them up tomorrow

The MUA at the store I went to was wearing Strong Woman with Viva Glam II in the center. She said she also lined her lips with Currant or Vino lip pencil. I can't remember which one, but it was a very pretty combination.

That sounds like an interesting combo!

I went to my store today, braved the parking and hustle of the shopping center the day after Christmas. Whew!

I got Poised and Taupe Shape blushes and I B2M'd for another Pink Pigeon and 2 Party Parrots. I missed out on Party Parrot online, and I only have one that I got with Iris and I had been using it sparingly because of that. I was a little shy on getting BUs, but then I swatched it in store and fell in love. There's just something about its neon brightness that I adore. I'm soooo happy I was able to get those goods especially the Pigeon! If I had to, I would throw out all my other lipsticks and just wear Pink Pigeon forever lol! Yeahh not gonna happen

but it's definitely my favorite color ever! I'm glad to read that many of you are able to get it in store and experience the awesomeness of the Pigeon.


My online haul is slated to arrive next Thursday, yipes! I was able to swatch everything and felt satisfied with my choices. Hot Chocolate is a gorgeous color!

I called for one item for my sis in law since I get to Vegas tomorrow they held the item so hopefully I show up w it still on hold even if its not for me I get stressed out not getting the item

Yay Kimibos! I leapt out of my way too conservative box and nabbed Firm Form. In addition, I got Absolute Power, Party Parrot and Strong Woman.

My box arrived with everything inside. My lipsticks came packaged inside of a small black vinyl pouch with the MAC logo printed all over it. I was like cool, but then I remembered I accidentally selected MAC gift wrap.

Strong Woman is not like Heroine on me. It leans more magenta than Heroine and it's not as vibrant. Still a very pretty magenta purple shade, but seems more toned down. It seems like I would have a similar color in my stash, but I don't. It's darker than Dish It Up and Seductive Intent. Hoochie Lip Tar is probably the closest like someone else mentioned, but I didn't compare them yet. They weren't near me while I was doing my comparisons.

Absolute Power is not as dark as Runaway Red or as bright as Red Racer and Ruffian Red. It's actually extremely close to Charmed I'm Sure on me. Absolute power may have half a pinch more pink than Charmed I'm Sure, and that may be too much. But it still looks so good on, so all is forgiven.

Firm Form is more like a dark chocolate brown with gold flecks. I definitely need a full face of makeup to wear it properly, but it could work.

Luckily I didn't have to resort to harming babies or puppies in my quest for the Pigeon as duckrodeo calls it. Well, I almost bumped into a baby carriage that was in front of me. Does that count?
